Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: March 24, 2022

Before the Lord can do a new thing, we have to let go of the old. Old ways, old habits, and often old circles. I tend to hold onto people, places, and things that I love. In this season of my life, God has said I’m doing a new thing and somethings will have to go. I understood the “things” He was clearing out, but some of those people hurt. I found it’s easy when He removes the thorn of conflict, but it’s much harder when He removes a sister that was in your heart. He recently reminded me of a word He gave me several years ago when I was going through some rough things and was “abandoned” by a sister in the Lord and someone I thought was very close to me and that I really needed to hear again, The pruning is never easy daughter, but necessary for your growth. Your destiny could not flourish with weeds in your midst. They thought they were shaking the dust from their feet, but I was weeding out your circle. That is deep y’all. Sometimes those people who walk out of our life are meant to go, stop chasing them and bid them a fair goodbye. Stop mourning those things you lost and can’t get back, God is doing a new thing and you will get so much better in their place. I hear living waters in my spirit this morning. Living waters are bursting forth and filling every dry place. Do you believe it? He is God of the living and what He takes, He replaces; what you lose, He restores! God is doing a new thing! Start giving Him the praise child of God! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” ~ Isaiah 42:9
