I find it interesting that Jesus first revealed Himself after His resurrection to a woman. Mark 16:9 tells us He first appeared to “Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.” It wasn’t one of his 11 disciples, men. He chose a woman to carry the good news of His resurrection, someone who may not have been as readily received and in a miraculous encounter that was already going to be hard to believe; He chose her anyway. God doesn’t choose anyone based on our man- based qualifications, He chooses who He deems is right for the job that He will equip them for! If God has called you to a position, lace up your shoes and get ready. Get ready and start doing what you can in the physical (study to show yourself approved), but get ready for the Holy Spirit to pour Himself into you and accelerate that knowledge in whatever you have been gifted. God doesn’t work like man, He will equip you for that which He calls you to do just as He equipped Moses. Don’t be timid and don’t back down from fear. If God is calling you, He will also provide the way. Answer with an obedient heart and everything else will follow. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.” ~ Matthew 28:9-10
