I try to go out each morning and evening for what I call my protecting my peace time. I got it from a challenge I took from Trent Shelton and just continued it long (years now) after the challenge ended. For me, it is has become a time for me to reflect with God and a time where He shows me many things. This morning I looked down and there was a huge slug on the sidewalk. Immediately “O sluggard” leaped into my mind. I came in and looked up Proverbs 6:9 and began to pray over it. As I prayed, I heard the Lord say it is time for those sleeping to rise. It is time for those barely getting by to move. The Lord has great work for you to do for His Kingdom and you can’t do it from a position of idleness. There are things you desire from Him, but He requires you to move into action to receive. A sluggard is a lazy or sluggish person. The Lord says He has too much, child of God, for you to remain in sluggish position, it is time to rise and be who He has called you to be for this time. The world is waiting for things to get better, but it is only through Me that there will be any changes that truly matter. Seek Me daily. Rise up. The battle is at hand and I am calling you forth, I will equip you for that the call. Not one of My children are too small, too old, too uneducated. I will equip that which I call. Wake, O sluggard! Will you heed My call? ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?” ~ Proverbs 6:9
