Whew, those tribulations y’all! Just yesterday I said there seemed to be more and more difficult times and this morning I woke with a migraine. The Lord spoke to me early reminding me, “It is settled.” By afternoon, I had the wind knocked out of me by the enemy. Tribulation worketh patience. Verse 4 reminds patience works experience and experience hope. Verse 5 goes on to remind us further that hope maketh not ashamed; because the love God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. WOW! That puts a different perspective on the the trial I went through today. The experience I had led to hope of which I was not ashamed (although the enemy wanted me to be and he wanted me to feel defeated), but the love of God lifted me from that place and it’s the Holy Spirit that will help me not to allow the devil to take me back to that place in my mind causing the pain from my past. Glory hallelujah my tribulations worketh patience! I am a work in progress and I’m okay with that. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” ~ Romans 5:3-5
