I read today’s verse and just looked up and smiled with tears welling up in my eyes. God is so good. He knows the things we are going to face and He equips us for those battles. Gird is “encircle (a person or part of the body) with a belt or band; or prepare oneself for something difficult or challenging.” Today’s verse says the Lord gird’s us with strength unto battle, He prepares us with strength. We don’t go in weak or weary no matter how the situation feels! Not only that, He subdues the enemy rising up against us. It doesn’t matter what form that enemy is taking, He has subdued it! The enemy doesn’t want us to believe it, but here it is in God’s word, all we have to do is walk in it! Glory hallelujah, that deserves a praise shout!!! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
