Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: August 19, 2022

The Lord has been speaking to me a lot about prayer. My timeline is filled with really powerful post about prayer on it, but lately He has really impressed the word “fervent” on my heart. “Fervent” is having or displaying a passionate intensity. God has been drawing me into fervent prayer and showing me it is critical at this point in my destiny. I also found it interesting to look up “effectual,” it means successful in producing a desired or intended result; effective. Fervent prayer is effective in getting the desired or intended results. There are somethings that only come through time spent with our Father, somethings learned through direct wisdom from the Holy Spirit in one on one communication in prayer. That one on one communication availeth much! We can’t skip that time and we can’t quickly run through it. We have to meet our Father there and take the time to listen for His voice as we fervently call out to Him. He will respond. Prayer isn’t meant to be a one way monologue, but a two way conversation. Our Father loves to hear from us and He loves to respond and commune with us! The conversations I have with my Father are my most precious times of the day! Seeing today’s posts reminded me, I need to go harder in prayer. It is prayer that has gotten me through the last month. As I prepare to go back to work, I need to arrange my time to go even harder, go even deeper, more fervently into prayer. Prayer is my connection to my Father, it is what carries me through and it is the line the enemy will attempt to disconnect. Pray for me as I pray for you! We will pray each other through! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” ~ James 5:16
