The Lord spoke to me yesterday in prayer about believing what He’s promised and not what the physical eye sees. I have talked about this many times, but the Holy Spirit really has it on my heart this week. The enemy is attacking the children of God hard with discouragement and he is using it to oppress God’s children to a place where they can’t see the light. My friends, He is the light and in Him there is no darkness. The enemy tries to blind you and take away your hope; but, when you place that focus on God and what He has promised you, you steal his power. You have to force yourself to place your faith in God and the things hoped for, the things promised, they may not be seen yet, but they are promised and because they are promised they will come to pass. You shift the very atmosphere when you start to praise God and call the devil out for the lair he is. It begins with that one thought that brings the light of God back in and shines it on that darkness the devil tried to close in on you. That light spreads and before you know it the devil can’t abide, he has to go! The second you feel his presence or a negative thought that is not from God, you cast it out of your mind and your replace it with the Word of God. You do this renewing constantly. Your faith will start to wax stronger and you see God’s promises coming to pass because He does not go back on His Word, but we have to believe in the things unseen and keep the enemy in his place. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
