We don’t have to go through a priest to reach our Heavenly Father, we don’t need to go through ritual sacrifices for the atonement of our sins. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, He became the only sacrifice needed to atone for our sins and gave us the privilege to come boldly unto the throne of grace anytime we need it. Our Father is always listening. Not only that, but He wants to hear from His children, He wants a relationship with us. Not a onside prayer to Him, but a two-way conversation. And He gave His son so that none would parish so He doesn’t want anyone to make the decision to go to hell, it grieves His heart. He’s provided a way, grace and mercy through the blood of Jesus and when you accept it, your life will never be the same. He not only gives grace for the time of need, but He walks with you daily and when you choose to have that daily relationship with Him, He is a friend like no other. “He walks with me, and talks with me, and tells me I’m His own…” That peace is unlike anything the world can offer. The world would be so much better if everyone had it. It’s a calm even in the storm, it’s seeing your Father’s hand even when things don’t go your way, it’s feeling His love in a world gone crazy.
