It’s a heart issue. What the grounds of your heart look like and the water you are using to water your fruit look like, truly matter. Is it toxic, corrupted by the world or is it pure and has it been filtered through the Holy Ghost? Is it softened from the Holy Spirit to produce good fruit or hardened to produce little or bitter fruit? Does your fruit look appealing to the eyes, but leave a bad taste in the mouth? The health of what we produce stems from the condition of our heart. just like with fruit trees it has to be tended to. It has to be watered with God’s Word and pruned from anything not of God that is trying to take root. Whatever is in our heart is sure to come our in our fruit, in our words or our actions. Where our heart is matters and we must continually do a heart check because the devil never sleeps and he will constantly try to sneak some things in like unforgiveness, anger, hurt. That is also why renewing your mind is so important and why daily time with God is essential so you can keep your fruit clean (your heart pure). You can’t do that with a once in a while, meet and greet time with God. It has to be continual. You have to be ready for the enemy when he comes for you so you can say, not today satan and tomorrow either! The Holy Spirit will alert you when something isn’t right in your heart before your fruit goes bad when your spending that time with the Lord.
