When I read this passage, my spirit leaps with encouragement. Jesus broke the power over sin and death when he died on the cross and rose again 3 days later. He is alive, sitting at the right hand of His Father and when we become washed in His blood we too become dead to sin. We are given authority that many don’t even recognize, but one that is needed for victory in the times in which we live. We are dead to sin, but alive in Christ, that just makes me want to shout! It makes me yearn to grow more in Him, to seek His face, and abide in His presence. I’m so thankful to be washed in the blood! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
