We are no longer under the law, but under grace, we have God’s underserved favor resting over us. When you are walking with the favor of God resting on you and the knowledge that you are a King’s kid, your walk changes. The things you do changes. You don’t want to be caught up in sin because you are caught up in things for your Father’s Kingdom. You are a new creation in Him, old things have passed away! His grace starts to change you from the inside out. This change may not happen over night, but the Holy Spirit will start to quicken you to things and it will happen as you grow in Christ.
