Just as God will chase you down for your destiny the devil is relentless in his pursuit at trying to stop it. He is a liar and He cannot stop what God has ordained. However, it won’t stop him from trying and we must resist the things he throws our way. Today’s passage says resist the devil and he WILL flee from you. He doesn’t have a choice when you send him packing. When you submit yourself to God and stand on His Word, the enemy has nothing to stand on. He can throw daggers all day but they will bounce back because God is your shield. He is your defense. He has to go. Be like Jesus on the Mount and when he tries to throw something at you, throw the Word back at him! Resist him saints, resist everything he throws at you and trust your God to see you through!
