Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 4, 2022

Do you set aside time to meet with God each day? If you do that, it will become the most precious part of your day. When you choose to draw close to Him, He will draw close to Him. Too many times we tend to get busy with life and don’t have time for prayer until something bad happens and then what do we do? We pray for God’s help. Whether it is a sickness or a financial issue, we cry out, help me Lord. Our gracious Father full of mercy, responds to our prayers. But I challenge you to call out to Him daily, build a one on one relationship with Him where you start to hear His voice and recognize Him speaking to you throughout your day. Yes, He does that too. He speaks through people, nature, Scripture, and so many other ways. He is always speaking if your spiritual ears are tuned into His frequency, if your mind is fixed on Him and not the things of the world. He’s calling His children into a higher place of fellowship with Him. He’s calling them out of the worldly things and into His presence. Being double minded will not work, you have to be Kingdom minded. When Joseph and Mary could not find Jesus in Luke 2:42-49 at the age of 12 after they had journeyed (because He had stayed behind) and after they found Him and His mother being worried inquired why He had worried them, He replied in verse 49, “And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?” It is time for us too to be about our Father’s business and it starts with drawing nigh to Him daily! 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” ~ James 4:8
