My heart was heavy this morning as I prayed. Yesterday was a rough day on so many levels. I found myself crying out to my Father and He led me to the book of Nahum. Our Father is our stronghold in our day of trouble, but He also feels what we feel. He hurts when we hurt. Today’s passage says with an overrunning flood He will make an utter end … and darkness shall pursue His enemies. Psalm 105:15 says, “Touch not mine anointed, And do my prophets no harm.” God takes it pretty seriously when you come against one of His own. When they overwhelm and flood you, it’s with an overrunning flood He will pursue them. Pray for them. Don’t hold bitterness in your heart. Pray for the same mercy and grace you received. Let go and leave it in God’s hands. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“7 The LORD [is] good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. 8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.” ~ Nahum 1:7-8
