Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. That can be a lot when you are going through a storm, but that is where Faith steps in and you trust God for whatever it is you are enduring and needing the patience through. It can be a difficult fruit to produce and needs to be cultivated with great care. Leaning into God helps fertile the soil to grow this fruit. Praise and worship during trying times keeps it watered so it doesn’t grow dry and brittle. It is certain our patience will be tested, it is needed for its growth but God will never test it beyond what we can bear. The Holy Ghost is there to help lift the burden, lessen the weight, and free our mind. All we have to do is lean in and ask. 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.” ~ James 5:10-11
