Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 11, 2022

What an inspiration and testimony this passage is. It says Elias was human just as we are, he encountered things of the natural man just as we do. Yet he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and the Lord answered His prayer and when he again prayed for rain, the Lord gave the rain and the earth brought forth fruit. Whatever it is we need, all we have to do is ask the Lord in faith (and in accordance to His will) and we will receive it. It is important that what we are asking is in accordance to His will and that we are not praying amiss. A lot of prayers aren’t answered because we pray amiss and God won’t answer something that will harm His children or hurt His Kingdom. It’s time to do a heart check and seek the will of God when coming before His throne. He wants what is best for you and me. Then ask in faith and trust you will receive it! He loves to give us the desires of our heart. He is a good, good God! 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” ~ James 5:17-18
