The thoughts and ways of the Lord are unlike our own. His ways and His thoughts are so much higher than our own. He sees what we can’t. He sees ahead and He sees the whole picture while we only see in part. We are often moved from a place of emotion and He loves us but His actions aren’t moved by emotion instead by what is best in the whole picture that we can’t see. We have to lean in and trust Him when things we pray for don’t come to pass. We have to lean in and seek Him for guidance before we react in situations. I am so guilty of not doing this and then having to ask for His help with the fallout. I’m a work in progress and so thankful He never gives up on me! His thoughts and ways are higher so we must seek Him and He will share those thoughts and ways with us. It’s that daily walk with Him where He reveals His heart to us and shares His very thoughts.
