The devil comes to rob us of our peace. He can’t take my soul. He can’t take who God has ordained me to become so he sets out to steal my peace and boy has he been raging a battle against mine. The battle was so intense last night that all I could do was look up to my Father with tears streaming down my cheeks and call on His name. It was enough. He led me to today’s passage. The key is, “…whose mind is stayed on thee.” For Him to keep me in perfect peace through this storm, I have to take my mind off the storm and fix it on the Lord. When I focus on the storm, the waves overwhelm me and I start to take on water and sink. When I focus on the Lord Jehovah, He is my strength that pulls me from the waters and sits me in the very palm of His hand. Because the enemy bombards the mind continually, I have to continually fix my eyes on my Father so that the water from the storm doesn’t overtake me. Are you overwhelmed? I get it! What are you fixing your mind on? Fix your eyes on God and watch the atmosphere switch. The enemy looses ground when he can’t steal your peace! 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
