I spent some time meditating on this passage today. It says, “blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” It’s not enough to just know it, you must keep it. The devil knows the Word of God better than most people, but he is far from blessed and it is not enough for us to just know the Word. We must obey it. We must put it into practice. We must submit to it. When we do this we will be blessed. As Prophet Torace Solomon says, the Lord is not looking for perfection but progression. We weren’t meant to remain a baby in Christ, we were meant to grow with Him and to put what we learn into practice. I am so thankful for a Father that is patient with me as I grow in Him. Are you absorbing His Word and listening to the instruction He gives? Are you growing or have you become stagnant?
