It’s disheartening when someone you trust betrays that trust, but as a child of God you can give it to Him to heal those wounds and trust they will not prosper from their wickedness. When you see evil people that appear to prosper, sometimes at your expense, just rest in the Lord. Wait patiently for what He has promised you. Many times He protects us by forcing us to let go of people that were hindering your progress in Him. There are times they take a promotion or something you just knew was yours. Let it go and trust in the Lord. Chances are pretty good that He has something better for you! His ways are better than ours, He knows and sees what we don’t.
