Jehovah-Mekaddishkem is “The Lord Who Sanctifies” Sanctify is “set apart as or declare holy; consecrate.” The Lord’s children are set apart. We are washed in the blood of Jesus, redeemed. We are held to a higher standard, we are made holy through the blood of Jesus and called to walk accordingly. This doesn’t mean we are perfect, but we are continually walking with the Lord and flesh dies on the journey. He is Jehovah-Mekaddishkem and walking with Him will change life continuously. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] the LORD that doth sanctify you.” ~ Exodus 31:12-13
