Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: January 26, 2023

I came in from my Neurologist appointment with a pounding migraine, for the fourth day in a row. I really wanted to just go to bed, but the Lord has laid it on my heart to be faithful with these post so I pressed on. As I read today’s passage, my heart was filled with joy. The love of God is so perfect and pure. He sent His only beloved son to clear us of our sin debt before we were even born. Jesus died knowing we would be born into sin, but loves us so much that He gave His blood to cleanse and cover us from the sin that we would have to our account. When you ask God to forgive you for those sins and ask Him into your heart, you become grafted in as sons and daughters of the most high God. The enemy will try hard to regain the territory he lost, but nothing can separate us from the love of God. What joy and comfort fills me as I meditate on today’s passage. Children of God, we are His and nothing can change that. When we come to Him, we are far from perfect. He already knows we are human. He is just looking for us to keep pressing, keep trying. He will be right there, never letting us down. 🦅 #f8ithgal

“38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 8:38-39
