Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: February 13, 2023

A good Father corrects his child when they are wrong, he redirects their path if they go off course, and he picks them up when they fall. In the Lord, we have a good, good Father. His chastisement isn’t to hurt or break us, it is to protect us and help us grow in Him. I would be concerned if I did not feel conviction when doing wrong or never receive chastisement in the areas I need it. They are for my good and to give me the expected end my Father has for me. We are blessed to have a Father that loves us too much to leave us in our mess! Thank You Father God for being that good Father. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity. 12 Blessed [is] the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; 13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.” ~ Psalm 94:11-13
