What kind of friends you have matters. God started speaking to me about this last year and brought it back to my memory this week. We need praying friends, the ones who want to see you do better. We need the kind of friends as the man in today’s passage had. They carried him up, uncovered the roof, and let him down in the presence of Jesus. We need friends with that faith, friends willing to go the extra mile. We don’t need people disguised as friends that deplete us emotionally and leave us weary. We don’t need friends who talk about our business, but instead ones who pray about it. Yes, friends matter! 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” ~ Mark 2-4-5
