Today was hard. From the very beginning all the way to the end, just hard. Then I was reminded of today’s passage and my heart smiled. Double for my trouble is what I heard as I read it over and over. Everlasting joy, what a promise! Perhaps your day was just as difficult as mine. I would like to encourage you to keep pressing through whatever it is. God sees you, not one thing you come up against is missed by Him. Double is your portion.
