Often in todays society we want everything right now. When we pray, we also look for right now answers. This passage reminds us that often our Father does things in portions. He does this so that we can retain the ground we are gaining. He has us in mind with everything He does and it is done to grow us in faith and prosper us with His knowledge. What an awesome God we serve.
“29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. 30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.” ~ Exodus 23:29-30
