Nourishment for Your Spirit and Soul: January 1, 2026

Today’s passage resonated with me as we begin a new year. I found myself looking back as we went through the holidays and I realized there were still wounds sore to the touch. That was magnified as I was looking for a picture for today’s blog. I looked through pictures from West Virginia, Colorado, and Louisiana. So much I’ve learned that I’d tell my younger self today. The last year and a half has weighed heavily on me and I could see it on my face.

I laid with tears in my eyes. So much wasted time Poppa. How could I waste so much time? How Poppa? Tears now steaming, my Father did not scold me. He gently said no looking back. Those things can no longer hurt you, but propel you into the destiny I have for you. You had to walk through fire to get to the place I am taking you.

Have you too walked through the fire? There are things forged through those fires that cannot be learned any other way. But after those fires, you come through with a grace, polished and pure. You come through positioned for the destiny your Father has prepared you for. God is doing a new thing. This is the season of new, the fresh, and walking with purpose. The purpose you were born to share with the world. Glory hallelujah, let’s welcome that new thing that only God can do. 🦅 ~ Prophetess Michelle, #f8ithgal, #Joy

“18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.” ~ Isaiah 43:18-19
