“No more a servant, but a son.” Let that sink in. We are sons and daughters of the most high God. When He calls us to work for His Kingdom, it is the Kingdom we are now “heirs of God through Christ.” The most intimate name we can call Him is “Abba, Father”! The writer spends so much time in these verses making it clear we are children of God, we are heirs to Him. We have been adopted in. God wants us to know we are HIS! You may have been abandoned in this world or your patents may have passed on, but you have a Heavenly Father that has pulled you under His wing. He has grafted you into HIS Kingdom. He is healing your heart and souls wounds if only you let Him. He has given us the Holy Ghost to part wisdom into us for this journey, to strengthen us, to equip us… He wants you to know you are His, child of God.
