This morning’s Scripture isn’t giving you permission to drink any deadly poison, the Word also says not to tempt the Word your God. It is speaking of the very time we are living. An example is having foods recalled because they are harmful. If you are a child of God and you have prayed over it you can trust it won’t harm you. That doesn’t mean you should knowingly consume something deemed harmful, but it means you have been covered by the blood should it have happen! This verse also clearly says, “they shall lay hand on the sick, and they shall recover.” A lot of churches don’t even keep anointing oil in their sanctuary, I have it in my home. I told a friend not long ago she needed to be anointed with oil and prayed for and she replied she didn’t know anyone who did that. I said stop by my house, I will anoint you with oil and pray for you. The Scripture says “Where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 He is a healing God and laying on of the hands is something we are told to do for the sick and they will recover. There is a measure of faith on their part that cannot be overlooked. So many times we have not because we ask not and then we receive not because our faith is lacking, I felt that in my spirit! So much in this morning’s passage, I pray you have gleaned from it and even if your church doesn’t anoint the sick, get you some anointing oil and anoint yourself. I cannot express the power in that! There is power in that anointing, not just for the sick. There is power in the anointing wherever your life needs it! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” ~ Mark 16:18
