Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: June 1, 2022

So many lessons in this verse. Jesus took authority over the storm. He said peace be still and there was a great calm. Where is the enemy raging over your mind? He will take that one thought and toss it to and fro in your mind like a wave at sea in storm IF you allow it. It is up to you to say peace be still and cast it out. Our level of faith starts in the mind and the seeds we allow the enemy to plant and what we decide to water with with our thoughts. There are so many things we need to cast out, but we entertain them instead. We need to make our minds still with the peace of Christ and then replace with with joyful thoughts, things true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of good virtue, of good praise (Philippians 4:8). It is a battle in the mind while faith grows in the heart. Peace be still for you today in the name of Jesus. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” ~ Mark 4:39
