What comes out of your mouth matters. The definition of perverseness is “Contrary to what is right or good; wicked or depraved: a perverse world of sinners.” (www.thefreedictionary.com) It grieves the Holy Spirit when such words come out of our mouth or when we partake in conversations where they are being communicated. It creates a breach in the spirit or a disruption in communication. Help me Father to have a wholesome tongue in everything that proceeds from my mouth. Forgive me for anything said in anger or aggravation that has created a breach in communication with the Holy Spirit! Forgive me for even engaging in conversations with others who’s communication may not be wholesome and pleasing to Your ears. Help me to be a testimony for You, a witness for Your grace and mercy and how to speak with love and kindness even in anger. Let a wholesome tongue rule my mouth. In Jesus name, Amen. Words matter! They matter in what you speak over your life, they matter in what you speak over others, they matter in how others perceive you, they just matter! Temper what you say with love and kindness. Even for those who are against you, love them with the love of Jesus and temper what you say to them. Help me Poppa as I vowel to do this! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.” ~ Proverbs 15:4

I really love this verse! I say it to myself often, and I’m improving in it too!
I pray your migraine takes a summer vacation!
