Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: September 21, 2022

I looked up Biblical strife, “1a : bitter sometimes violent conflict or dissension political strife. b : an act of contention : fight, struggle. 2 : exertion or contention for superiority. 3 archaic : earnest endeavor.” I’ve found that if it takes away my peace, the price is just too high. If it causes me to struggle, if it causes contention, it’s just not worth the negative pressure it is applying to my life. It’s important to look at the source of the pressure being applied and if it is in any way negative the price is too high. Pressure from the Lord builds me up, pressure from the enemy knocks me down. We should also be building each other up not knocking each other down! Lord help us to do and be better. Help us to recognize the enemies plots and not fall into them. Help us to fix our eyes on You! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” ~ Philippians 2:3-4
