My Poppa continued to speak to my heart about resting in Him as He brought me to this familiar passage in Matthew today. What are you carrying daughter that is not yours to carry? This passage says to learn from our Savior, I pondered the passage again. How much lighter would I be if I gave everything to Him?! Even as I typed, thoughts tried to bombard my mind of things I have absolutely no control over. Things I need to leave in my Father’s hands. Rest in Me daughter. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. If we allow Him, our Father will lift that heavy burden we try to carry off of us. Our shoulders were never meant to carry the weight of the world. Jesus says, Take my yoke upon you… it is then that we will find rest for our weary souls! 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
