I have read today’s passage too many times to count, but something about it hit different today. The enemy wants us to take a situation and see it with our physical eyes and interpret it with our own understanding. God want us to see it in the spiritual realm and lean into Him to glean His wisdom and understanding. There is almost always more going on than the physical eyes can see. The enemy wants us to be moved by emotions and overwhelmed with the situation while our Father wants us to acknowledge Him and listen for His instructions and WAIT to move accordingly. Trust and faith go hand and hand. We have to trust our Father, seek Him, and lean unto Him for ALL things and have faith in whatever He tells us to do. That can seem difficult when the storm is raging around us, but that is when we need to do it the most because He is working in realms we can’t see and He sees behind what we see. Our heart must connect with His so that He can open our spiritual eyes to the things around us and direct our steps. The enemy wants us to move out of irrational emotion, in this season God is maturing my emotions. Glory hallelujah. Thank You Father God. I pray He matures all of our emotions to stop in the storm and seek Him and WAIT for Him to direct our path.
