Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: December 16, 2022

Earlier in the week I had read a post where someone was saying today’s verse was misquoted. They had used a different version of the Bible and it had replaced some words. Words are important. I’ve been thinking on this verse and the importance of it’s words. It says, “Thou wild keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee…” The enemy is so skilled at attacking our mind, it is a huge way he steals our peace. This verse reminds us we have to keep our mind on the Lord and then He will keep us in HIS perfect peace. The very second the enemy comes into our thoughts, we MUST shut him down. The very second he brings his lies, we have to say not today and remind him of who we are in God. Where our mind wanders matters! It can allow the enemy access and destroy our peace. The key is eyes on God. We fix ourselves on Him. We surround ourselves with people that encourage us in Him. We listen to praise music, not music that invites the enemy in. We watch what we allow our eye gates to see. We renew our mind daily and throughout the day when needed! Where is your head right now? Stop and readjust your focus as many times as needed, but keep your mind on God and Godly things and His peace will surround you. 🔥 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
