Hagar first used this name in Genesis 16. She fled after Sarai had dealt with her harshly. The Angel of the Lord found her and told her she was with child because the Lord had heard her affliction (Genesis 16:6-13). In response, she called the name of the Lord, Thou God seest me.
El Roi sees you too! He sees everything that has and will happen to you. He sees and catches every tear that you cry. He sees YOU my friend. A world so big and He sees YOU just as He saw Hagar at her time of need. How awesome is that. When you start to feel alone, when you feel no one sees or understands what you are facing, remember He is the God who sees and He sees you! 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?” ~ Genesis 16:13
