I used to tread a little lighter in my approach to speaking the gospel, but God is giving me the boldness to share it unapologetically. Life is short while hell is for an eternity and our time here on earth is not promised. I would rather someone get angry with me for sharing the truth than to die lost. We live in a world that likes to sugarcoat the gospel. The enemy is very skilled at taking the Word of God and twisting beyond recognition. Jesus came to save us of our sins, but sin is still sin. He came to save us from our mess, not to allow us to stay in it. When we come to Him, we experience a heart change. He forgives us of our sins and begins cleaning us up from the inside out. Sharing the gospel with others is important for showing the grace and mercy of our loving Father. Sugarcoating it or outright twisting it can put their very soul at risk. This is not the time to be timid about the gospel of Christ or withhold parts of it to appease the masses. It is time to speak boldly and unapologetically. The state of someone’s soul could just depend on it. 🦅 ~ Chelle, #f8othgal
“16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” ~ Romans 1:16-17
