I love the father in the second verse of this passage. He cried out, “…Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” I felt this, my heart felt this. He believes, oh how He believes; but at the same time He ask Jesus to help his unbelief, help any unbelief that keeps him from receiving the healing for his child (which he receives). We aren’t perfect, it’s through Christ we obtain that perfect unwavering faith. Make me stronger in you. I too believe. Poppa help any unbelief in me. I want that unwavering faith that is perfected through Christ. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” ~ Mark 9:23-24
