I watched the prettiest rain steadily falling this morning. I woke to crushing news that a dear friend from my middle school and high school years had passed away. The rain was calming as I watched it and listened to it fall. It seemed so fitting for the day. This evening I began to think about rain and our Heavenly Father. Today’s verse made me think of this morning’s showers. He was watering the ridges and not only making the grounds soft, but the rain falling, though hard, was so soft and sweet. His blessings have been pouring over me like a rain this week. The enemy is raging, but the rain keeps pouring in. Glory hallelujah, the enemy can’t stop what God has ordained! Someone needs to know, not to give up or give in to the devil. He is a liar! Please pray for my friend’s sons, her family, and friends. Pray for God’s comfort and His hand on her sons. We have to stand in the gap for her sons now that she’s not here to do it. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
“Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.” ~ Psalm 65:10
