I was thinking on this verse this evening after I read it. As children of God, we have the mind of Christ. Then I started thinking about being in the world but not of the world. Have you ever just had your buttons pushed and you just want to react outside of who you know you now are in a Christ? Man, that’s a hard one. How do we maintain that mind of Christ in those difficult situations. We have to start by being rooted in His Word. Then we apply it daily. We have to be grounded in prayer and praise. And you know I’m going to say it, we have to be renewing our minds daily. If we are not washing ourselves clean daily, it so easy for junk to build up and slip out. God isn’t looking for perfection but progression, so change won’t come overnight. Don’t be discouraged when your mind isn’t changing at the rate you want as long as your heart is where it should be with God and you are renewing it consistently. We are sons and daughters of the King. As you progress keep your eyes forward, no looking back. Your destiny awaits, your thinking must align with the King of Kings for it to unfold. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
