Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: October 6, 2022

Today’s passage finds us again waiting upon the Lord. There are some things in my life that it is an action season, the Lord has me doing; but, there are some very dear things to my heart that He has me praying and waiting on. That waiting is hard when it comes to those you love the most, but things like prayer and fasting are also action words in your waiting season. While you wait upon your Father you can still cry out to Him. He hears every word, collects every tear, and your prayers are powerful as you stand in the gap for those you love. Waiting doesn’t mean powerless, it means your faith is being strengthened as your Father works in realms you can’t see. It means your patience is growing stronger as you lean into your Father through each trial you face. It means your waiting period is producing the warrior in you that is needed for God’s Kingdom during this time. Take heart child of God, those who wait on the Lord will see His will come to pass and all things will work in your favor declares the Lord. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.” ~ Psalms 37:8-9
