Jehovah-Nissi is “The Lord is My Banner. He goes before us and ensures our victory over the battles the enemy is waging against us. In Exodus 17, Israel wins in battle against Amalek. When Moses raised his hand up with his rod Israel was winning, when he lowered his hand with the rod Amalek would be winning. God had already given Moses knowledge for this battle and he had given him the rod he used to defeat their enemy. The children of Israel did not fight alone, God was their banner. Just as He was their banner, He is ours. He leads the way, our victory comes through Jehovah-Nissi, our banner! Are you in a battle where you don’t see an end in sight? Perhaps you are weary from the fight. Decree that Jehovah-Nissi is The Lord your banner and victory is yours through the blood of Jesus.
