A December Tradition: Reading the Book of Luke, Chapter 1

What a first chapter! When the Lord sends you an Angel, you’d better listen. Zacharias and Elisabeth received their child, but he was not able to speak through the pregnancy because of his unbelief. I admire how Mary, on the other hand, just submits to the this amazing word the angel has given her. She is indeed favored by God. I love many parts of this chapter, but my favorite is verse 41 when the babe leaps in Elisabeth’s womb and she was filled with the Holy Ghost. I got chills when I read that and my own weary spirit soared. When Mary said in verses “46 My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour,” I felt that and my spirit was magnifying and praising as I read the chapter too. I found myself singing the song “Prepare the Way” by Azusa as read about baby John. It talks of the way being prepared of the Lord. As the chapter ends, I could just picture a young John growing up, growing strong in the Spirit, getting ready to prepare the way of our Lord. I am so excited for chapter 2 y’all! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

[Luk 1:1-80 KJV] 1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3 It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4 That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. 5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife [was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name [was] Elisabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were [now] well stricken in years. 8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, 9 According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. 11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12 And when Zacharias saw [him], he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. 21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. 22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless. 23 And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. 24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on [me], to take away my reproach among men. 26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name [was] Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. 29 And when she saw [him], she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. 39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; 40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. 41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: 42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed [art] thou among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of thy womb. 43 And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 And blessed [is] she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. 46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. 49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy [is] his name. 50 And his mercy [is] on them that fear him from generation to generation. 51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from [their] seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. 54 He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of [his] mercy; 55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. 56 And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. 57 Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son. 58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her. 59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father. 60 And his mother answered and said, Not [so]; but he shall be called John. 61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name. 62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. 64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue [loosed], and he spake, and praised God. 65 And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea. 66 And all they that heard [them] laid [them] up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. 67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72 To perform the mercy [promised] to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. 76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

The world needs more of that Jesus love. People are searching so desperately for it and they don’t even realize it. They are empty and He is the only one that can fill that space. The world is filled with hate and evil and His love is the only thing that can combat it. He is the answer the world needs, but at the same time the world rejects it. What do we do? Continue to show His love anyways. You walk in His ways WITH His love. We show the world His love and compassion, but we don’t bend on His word. You can do both, He did. He sat with the sinners because He came to save them. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” ~ Ephesians 5:2

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 30

For day 30, I am thankful for Karissa and my small circle. Several years ago the Lord told me my circle would be small. Over the last month or so He has started equipping my circle to help me in the areas I need it to reach my destiny. The Lord has covered it all from my inner deliverance to accountability for my health goals. My circle is tight and I am so thankful to have the Lord hand picking mighty women of God like Karissa to be in it! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

It’s a heart issue. What flows from your heart comes out of your mouth. If your hurt, bitter, and angry that reflects in your tone. You have to let it go my friend. It’s not just for them, it’s for you. It eats away at you from the inside while they go on living. Christ gave us the gift of forgiveness and we need to offer it just as freely, not only with others but with ourselves. Forgive, heal, and move on from that thing in love… don’t allow the mind to keep revisiting it. When the memory comes up, shut it down with a forgiveness scripture and keep moving forward. Do not allow bitterness and anger to take root, allow kindness and love to flourish. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” ~ Ephesians 4:21-32

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 29

For day 29, I am thankful for Pastor Manny and Pastor Cheryl. God definitely led me directly to these two! Me and Pastor Cheryl had an immediate connection that has not been broken by the miles apart. I am so thankful God has kept them as a part of my circle as He stretches me and grows me. They are huge in where I am in my walk with God today. I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in their church! I am so blessed to have them in my life and so thankful. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The last thing I ever want to do is grieve the Holy Spirit, the very thought of that makes my heart hurt. I began to think on this verse this morning. Words matter. They can hurt to the very soul so can you imagine just how much they can grieve the Holy Spirit? They can also quench the work He is doing without us even realizing it. My mouth is the hardest thing I have controlling. When I am hurt it seeks to explain that hurt and it never comes out right, it comes out more like anger. Oh Holy Spirit forgive me and help me to be silent while You work. You guide my thoughts and my speech in all things! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” ~ Ephesians 4:30

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 28

For day 28, I am thankful for my sister-in-laws. I never had sisters so it is awesome to have two now. We had a family dinner yesterday and I was too sick to cook very much, it was nice having these two to be able to call and know they could bring the dishes we need to make everything come together perfectly. I am thankful to have them to call on during those times when I can’t do things alone and I’m even more thankful for the nieces and nephews they have blessed me with! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This is HUGE. Read that verse again and let it digest for just a minute. It says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth…” I looked corrupt up in the Bible concordance and it is “rotten that is worthless (literally or morally).” What kind of communication is coming out of your mouth? Does it speak life? The verse goes on to tell us the words we speak should edify and minister grace to the hears. So many words spoken these days speak death, they speak destruction, they speak disrupt. Are your words speaking peace? Are they edifying? Do they build up or bring down? Do they condemn and belittle or do they promote wisdom and growth? There is so much in what you say and how you say it. You hold the power to build up or tear down in your words and tone. It’s important to pray and not allow the enemy to use you without you even realizing it. What you say and you say it matters. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” ~ Ephesians 4:29

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 27

For day 27, I am thankful for the correction of the Holy Spirit. We need that correction for growth. It is never pleasant when a Father chastised his child, but it is done out of love. If you have arrived to a place where you can’t hear the conviction of the Holy Ghost you may want to check your heart, no one has ever reached a place of perfection while on this earth. I am so thankful for His wisdom and gentle nudge when I have done wrong. Never condemning, but always putting me back on track. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 27, 2021

The Bible doesn’t tell us not to get angry, it says to be angry and sin not. My mouth is the biggest thing I have to watch! It wants to keep going (mostly because my heart is hurt and it comes out in the form of anger) long after my Poppa has told me to be silent. It seems that silence is so hard for this daughter, but my patient Father keeps working with me! Verse 27, is the verse that really drives it home for me though, “Neither give place to the devil.” So holdup, when I am angry and lose control of that anger who am I giving place to? That hit hard and if I keep that in mind the next time I am in angry it might make it a little easier to hold my tongue! I never want to give the enemy anything in my life and the next time I feel the embers of anger being kindled I will work a little harder to just be still. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.” ~ Ephesians 4:26-27

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 26

For day 26, I am thankful my healing comes through the blood of Jesus. It cancels out any bad report and sickness over me regardless of the manifestation that has yet to take place! 1 Peter 2:24 tells me by His stripes ye were healed, that is past tense meaning that healing has already taken place. I claim that healing in the name of Jesus and I thank Him for it. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 26, 2021

I pray for the renewing of my mind every single morning because I know it is such a strong area of attack of the enemy. This morning’s passage reminds me I also have to make an active effort when he hits with those attacks to cut them off. Be it with conversations, thoughts; whatever the mode of attack, cut it off at the source. Don’t entertain that thing for even one second, that is how the devil gets his foot in the door. Once he’s in the door, he takes that thing (a thought or a rumor for example) and he just runs with it. If you shut that thought down with a Scripture from the Word of God like Jesus did on the Mount or squash the rumor with you, the devil has no room to move. This all starts with renewing our minds daily, we can’t do it alone. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;” ~ Ephesians 4:22-23

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 25

For day 25, I am thankful for the angels the Lord sends on my behalf. My momma has been praying the angels around me ever since I can remember. I have been praying every morning for the the Lord to send angels to surround me for the longest time now. Lately, He has been showing them to me in the clouds. This morning I went out and looked up and heard my Poppa tell me to go out back, you are looking in the wrong place daughter. I went out back and was awe to see the biggest angel in the sky watching over me. I let out a praise to God as I began to pray, thanking Him! He sends angels to watch over us and I’m thankful for that and the confirmations He’s been giving me and allowing me to see them. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Oh that precious grace that spills out over us! The enemy often tries to convince us that oil will run out and we don’t deserve it. You see, my friends he is a very skilled liar. He takes a little slither of truth and twist it beyond recognition. While it is true we may not deserve the grace we are given, Christ died to give us grace without measure. The devil was booted into hell and he knows his end. His mission is to kill, steal, and destroy as many lives and souls as possible on his way there. If he can’t have the souls of God’s people he seeks to destroy their lives and testimony. But God! We serve a mighty God who redeems, who’s love and mercy heals and transforms. Don’t buy into the lies of the devil and if you do fall, get back up! We serve a God who welcomes prodigal sons and daughters back! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” Ephesians 4:7

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 24

For day 24, I am thankful that God has a destiny for me. God has been speaking to me a lot about that destiny lately while the enemy has been trying to plant seeds of doubt. I’m thankful for a Father who confirms and reaffirms with His Word and through others to reassure me that it will come to pass and it is His timing, I am not late! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8uthgal

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 24, 2021

I am so thankful to serve a God that has a plan for our life, a calling for Him. He’s been speaking to me a lot about that lately! ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, ONE God, and ONE Father of all, who IS above ALL and through all in ME and YOU!! He is lives within us y’all! The Holy Spirit is constantly working on us from the inside, we’ve never “arrived.” If you’ve stopped growing there’s a problem and it’s time for a heart check. I’m so far from perfect, but my Poppa is ever so patient with me. These verses just melt my heart. Did you know you have a calling? Seek God and ask God what your destiny for His Kingdom is. It may be even greater than your heart could imagine! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.” ~ Ephesians 4:4-6

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 23

For day 23, I am thankful to be Holy Ghost filled. I still remember the day the I received my prayer language and it was one of the greatest gifts I could have ever prayed for! There are times my heart is so heavy I just don’t have the words, but the Spirit does! The Holy Ghost prays just what needs to be prayed and the enemy can’t understand a word! It’s a direct Morse code with code that he can’t decipher! Just this morning in the shower the Lord revealed something to me that I had been struggling with and where the root cause had come from, He instructed me to pray in the spirit. I caused me to ponder on the importance of this gift and how thankful I am for it. God is so good to us! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” ~ Acts 2:3-4

We don’t do this life thing alone y’all, we were never meant to! Jesus gave us direct access to our Father through the Holy Spirit. We don’t have to seek anyone else to get to Him, we can go directly to the source. You know what else? He wants us to! He longs for an intimate relationship with each of us where we call on Him personally, where we sit and talk WITH Him (not to Him) and where we listen for Him to respond. That’s right, He responds back! He wants two way communication with us, not one way!! I urge you to spend some quiet time with your Father, I promise as you grow closer to Him you will hear Him more and more and your heart will be so much happier regardless of your situation. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” ~ Ephesians 2:18

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 22

For day 22, I am thankful for the Holy Spirit’s personal guidance and wisdom. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to not only comfort us, but teach us. He brings to remembrance the things we read in the Word of God, but He also breathes life into it. He gives us hidden gems of wisdom that we would never see reading it in the carnal. When you walk with the Lord in an intimate relationship the Holy Spirit will guide your path in a personal way and I am so thankful for that guidance and life changing wisdom He gives. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

A yoke is “a wooden crosspiece that is fastened over the necks of two animals and attached to the plow or cart that they are to pull.” Jennifer Eivaz posted this verse last week as a prayer over us. My heart smiled as I read it again this morning and heard my Poppa say daughter I’m breaking the yoke of those burdens you’ve been carrying, those burdens that weren’t yours to carry. Our journey with the Lord is a progressive one and if it’s not there is a problem. We should always be learning, always being growing. There are somethings I should get the first time around, but my loving Poppa is ever so patient and the Holy Spirit keeps teaching until I I get it, like laying my burdens down and leaving them there! But ohhh when that yoke breaks, it is broken! What a mighty God we serve. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.” ~ Isaiah 9:4

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 21

For day 21, I am thankful the Lord sent me a sister to hold me accountable with my health and emotional goals. He didn’t just send me any accountability partner. Not my God. He sent me an anointed woman of God who speaks to Him and listens to His voice, who has insight into nutrition and the way He intended things to be, who also gets to the emotions of it all. Only God could bring us together. I have needed an accountability partner for years! This was a Devine set up by God and it came at a time when I needed it most. God’s timing is always perfect timing! I am so thankful to have this lady in my life! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Salvation came at at a price through the blood of our Savior on the cross, yet it is completely free to those who choose to accept it. It is the best and most intimate gift you will ever accept. It will transform your life in ways you just can’t even expect. Oh the grace our Father pours over us. I am still amazed! He is so patient with me and He never gives up on me!!! If you have not made that step, won’t you make it today? If you are reading this, it’s not by mistake. God has a plan for you, yes you! You can send me a private message or email if you’d like and I’ll walk you through how to be saved through faith as well! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 20

For day 20, I am thankful for morning skies that are a reminder that each day is a fresh beginning. As I was looking for a verse for my thankful picture today, my Poppa brought me to Lamentations 3:21-23 and of course it was just perfect! The Lord’s mercies are never consumed because He is so full of compassion for us and He has so much patience with this daughter! They are new every morning and His beautiful hand painted sky reminded me of this morning. He is so full of love for me and so faithful even when I start to fill with worry and fear, things that should not be there! I’m thankful for His forgiveness and morning skies that remind me today is a fresh beginning and His grace has me covered through the blood of Jesus. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 [It is of] the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 [They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.” ~ Lamentations 3:21-23

We live in a world that makes it easy to do the wrong thing in so many situations, but I encourage you to do the God “thing” anyways! This verse tells us in due season we will reap if we faint not. I have felt the press of the enemy lately and just yesterday I posted I was weary and friends I felt it, in my body and my spirit. Mentally, physically, spiritually I just felt tired. Then I read this verse this morning and felt my Poppa saying get up daughter, get up. God knows what I’m going through and He knows what your going through. He equips us for those battles and we pull our strength from Him, not from within ourselves. I cannot do this on my own or from within myself. My body is in a weakened stated. I need His healing, His wisdom, His strength… I need Him. I am weary because I am leaning on me and trying to handle everything myself and I just can’t. I need Him to fill me up. Today I am resting in Him. More of Him and less of me. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” ~ Galatians 6:9

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 19

For day 19, I am thankful my Father listens when I call on His name. I’ve been having a rough time lately. I’ve been really sick and struggling. Yesterday was a particularly hard day for me. Last night I decided to walk out for some #protectingmypeace time and look at the moon. I went out and looked up at the beautiful moon and took my first picture. It caught what my eyes had not seen, these beautiful rays. “Oh Poppa, how you love me,” I exclaimed! I continued taking pictures and looking at them and praising His name. He listens, it is as simple and great as that. He saw my struggle and He heard my prayers. He gave me the simplest thing that HE KNEW would lift my spirits and make my heart smile. He loves us so much. I am so thankful He listens when I call on His name. ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What are you sowing into? My heart is pondering this question this morning. How much time do you spend on Facebook? Do you get caught up in games, reels, or TikTok? Perhaps Instagram or Snapchat? Where you sow your time matters just as much as you where you sow your money, that hit hard this morning. You can’t get back wasted minutes. What we post can encourage or discourage a person. It can feed into their spirit, be it one from God or the devil. What we sow into is so vital and the devil knows it. He seeks to distract in his effort to kill, steal, and destroy. I’m definitely going to be thinking about how I sow my time. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

For day 18, I am thankful for the storm clouds and the rain. I went out this morning and watched the fast moving clouds, we are supposed to get rain today. I love the rain, everything smells so fresh and new afterwards. I started to reflect on the storms throughout my life. No one likes severe storms, they can be scary. Power outages, flooding, messes to clean up; but, in life those storms clear way messes and debris that are holding you back. While it is not pleasant, it is necessary. I don’t enjoy the storms while I’m in them, but I’m learning to find peace through my Father and finding His grace is indeed sufficient for me and my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I am thankful for those storm clouds and the rains. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

We were not meant to go through this life alone. Get you some Godly friends that can support you and help pray you through those hard times. My circle is pretty small, but God has blessed me with a core group of women that are rich in wisdom and prayed up. They truly understand the meaning of today’s verse and both their Godly wisdom and prayers have carried me through some pretty rough times. God sends us who He knows we need in our circle. Likewise, we are to pray for them and others in our lives. Those prayers might just be the ones that is carrying them through their day. Is there someone the Lord is laying on your heart to pray for? Take a minute with your Father and lift them up, their day more than likely needs it. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” ~ Galatians 6:2

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 17

Day 17, I am thankful my Father supplies my every need. I went out this morning to steal a little #protectingmypeace time before work and the Lord drew my attention to a bird’s nest in a tree that had already lost all of its leaves. I was amazed it was standing out so clearly among the bare branches. I felt the Lord telling me, He cares for the small birds and me too. I could feel His presence as I watched the tree in amazement. We’ve had really strong winds and that nest was not moved, how much more do I care for you daughter. I began to ponder on Matthew 6:26. He loves us enough to even number the hairs on our head y’all! There is not a need that we have, that our Father can not provide for. Do you have the faith to trust him to see it through? Mine is growing every single day and I’m thankful for a Father who is big enough to supply my every need! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” ~ Matthew 6:26

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 17, 2021

Full disclosure, I tend to hold a lot in and then let it all out at once. I have been really sick for months and the doctors misdiagnosed me the first couple and now that we know what is wrong we are still having a hard time getting me better. I’m still trying to work full time and feel I have so much on my shoulders. I “thought” I was handling it well. Sure, I was crying more but I was sick. Right? Yesterday, I was told I was angry a lot. Right after that, I snapped. It was time for some real soul searching with my Poppa. I want to produce good fruit, I need the help of the Holy Spirit to prune off the corrupt fruit. I sat in the car crying, pouring my heart out to God and my sister in Christ. Not all of it was me, but a lot if it was. I need to know when to be still and know He is God! I need to stress less and give it ALL to Him. I have to do these things to produce peace, faith, and longsuffering within me ya’ll. Whew. God corrects us because He loves us. It is not done out of condemnation, but love so that we can grow and move forward in His Kingdom. I don’t know about you, but I want everything He has for me and I don’t want anything stopping my fruit from growing or preventing my destiny from coming forth! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” ~ Galatians 5:22-23

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 16

For day 16, I am thankful for leaves changing and the reminder that change is a part of growth. In the mornings I take April out and watch the sky and talk to my Poppa. It’s my #protectingmypeace time. This morning my Poppa brought the leaves on the trees to my attention. They are beautiful as they are changing their colors. I noticed others had already started to loose their leaves and were standing almost bare. I am a person who likes consistency and really doesn’t like change at all, but my Father reminded me that change is a part of growth. If I am not changing, I am stagnant. I can’t grow into my destiny and remain where I am. Whew, what a word from God! This morning, I am so thankful for those beautiful leaves that change every year! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 16, 2021

I’ve been thinking a lot about this verse on so many levels. On an intimate level, if the devil gets a foothold on a little tidbit of something that is not right with the Lord he will use that and cause it to grow if you don’t nip it in the bud. If it’s bitterness towards someone, that bitterness will spill over and invade your heart and grow and it will will start to affect your relationship with the Lord. It is so important to come to the Lord with a clean heart. Are their things from your past that you need delivered from? I’m battling those demons right now. I think those are things many churches today don’t talk about and that is a huge one that needs addressed. Next, who are your friends? Those friends can leaven the whole lump. How do they encourage you and what do they encourage you to do? Are they pulling you towards Christ or away from Him? It really makes a difference my friends. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” ~ Isaiah 43:2

For day 15, I am thankful He is the peace in the storm. The enemy came in like a flood last night. He tore through my mind washing up memories of my past and causing a wake of destruction in His path. Things I thought I had been released from were clearly lurking in the compounds of my mind and as I get closer to a deliverance session the enemy is grasping at whatever he can trying to drown me. The devil is a liar and all of his minions with him. This morning in prayer I heard my Poppa say, I am the peace in the storm daughter. I saw a picture of a storm with snow flying, the snow was deep, and then suddenly the sun was shining bright. I heard my Poppa tell me the enemy was seeking to destroy me and my destiny, but He had come to give me life and give it more abundantly! He said the enemy could not have me because He had claimed me and I could not be taken back. He said to stay close to Him through this storm. The winds will be strong, the snow will be deep, but His sun will shine down on me throughout it all! Glory hallelujah, what a word!!! I am so thankful for His peace in the storm. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

It is certain our faith will be tested, I am finding that is never more so than now. But I am also finding that our Father is ever so loving and true and His love will not fail in these uncertain times. When the enemy bombards our thoughts we have to actively fight back with praise and prayer. We have to seek our Father’s face until those thoughts disappear. It’s a real battle that calls for clear and decisive action. Faith in action is what we need and a very close and intimate relationship with God is what is required. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. 7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?” ~ Galatians 5:6-7

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 14

For day 14, I am thankful that the Holy Spirit helps me overcome my fears. This morning the enemy tried to overcome me with the fear that we just didn’t have enough money. I heard my Father say, your help comes from above. It’s not about what I can do, it’s about what my Father can do through me. Too often I worry so much about things completely beyond my control. My Poppa is so patient with me when that worry and fear tries to take over. When I seek Him, He delivers me from my fears and I am so very thankful! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse makes my heart leap. Our Father is pouring His Spirit out over his people right now! His sons and daughters are prophesying as never before, dreams and visions are being seen. What an exciting time to know the Lord! It makes me crave a closer relationship with my Poppa and encourages me to get up early and seek His face. I long for that one on one contact that comes from His presence. If you have not experienced it, you are missing out my friends. He wants that with you, yes YOU! Spend some time with your Father today, your heart will be so much more at peace and happier for it. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” ~ Joel 2:28

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 13

For day 13, I am thankful for God giving me back wasted time. The enemy loves to plant seeds of doubt. Those include, you are too old, you’ve wasted too many years. This morning in my prayer time with my Poppa I once again ask Him “what would you have me me thankful for today” and He told I am right where He wants me to be. The enemy blinds me with thoughts that I’ve wasted years, but He has mapped out my life and I’m right on His schedule! When I got online the first thing I saw was Joel 2:25, confirmation. Any wasted time from the ENEMY will be restored!!! Look at my God! I have a destiny to fulfill for the Kingdom of God and I’m right on HIS schedule! On HIS timing! Glory hallelujah, what an awesome God we serve. Silly devil, tries to bombard me with thoughts of wasted time that HE stole, that God will restore!!! I am so thankful for the time ONLY God can restore and the confirmation He gave me this morning. That is God! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Be joyful in glory.” The enemy is trying hard to steal the joy from God’s people! He is crashing into their homes, wreaking havoc over their finances, and invading their health. He is a LIAR. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. It’s time to sing out in praise from our very beds. Make a joyful sound until the Lord and praise ourselves right out of these situations. The enemy cannot abide around the presence of praise, the spirits do not mix. We can no longer be passive CHRIStians. We must fight back as a single unit united as one. Can you picture it? All of our praises going up across the world? Let’s make a joyful noise and take back what the enemy has declared! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.” ~ Psalm 149:5

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 12

For day 12, I am thankful He knows my name. I was praying this morning and ask my Poppa, “What am I thankful for this morning?” Almost as soon as I prayed “You Know My Name” by Tasha Cobbs Leonard began to play and spirit leaped from within me. He knows our name y’all! Millions of people in the world, millions of prayers going up daily, and He still knows MY name and YOURS!!! He’s never too busy for me. He never gets tired of hearing me cry. He never gets angry when He has to pick me up from falling. He never gives up on me, when I want to give up on myself! He ALWAYS knows my name and I’m so thankful. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Do you realize you Father actually takes pleasure in meeting the needs of His people? He gave His only son for our sins so that we could spend eternity with Him. What greater love is there than that?! Oh my friends He wants to give you so much! When our hearts align with His, our desires match His and He wants to fulfill them every one! He is a Father like no earthly father could compare, His love is unmatched. My heart is just smiling as I think of my Poppa’s love holding me close today. He takes pleasure in me and you too!!! Glory hallelujah! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 11

For day 11, I am thankful for my job of 16 years. My original boss found me sitting in a Chinese restaurant in between shifts from a job I hated. The Lord had prompted me to take out my Bible and it caught his attention. He told me he had just posted a position for his Christian based company, I called the next day, and started the day after. He has since retired and the company now has different owners, but 16 years later God still has me there. I’ve held so many different positions through the years and I’ve learned so much. I’m currently in what I’d consider my favorite position of them all. The Lord just continues to bless me and I am so thankful to be where I am with this company. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.” ~ Psalm 128:2

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 10

For day 10, I am thankful for a God that prevails and an enemy that is defeated! The enemy has flooded me with one attack after another this week. As the dose of steroids came down the pain in my mouth returned and it was literally one attack after another in addition to it. It hurts to even talk or swallow. By this evening, I was just weary. Sitting on my bed near tears, my heart was encouraged by a precious sister’s response to my blog. I sat here and began to contemplate about my thankful post for today, my heart was about half thinking and half talking to my Poppa. The Holy Spirit brought to my memory, the enemy will flee 7 ways before you. I began to look for the verse and sure enough there it was in Deuteronomy 28:7! The Lord had already told me the attack on my mouth was a personal and concise one. It is to be used as a mouthpiece for HIM and the devil is trying to stop it, but he will not prevail. This will be a testing of my faith, but it will be healed and the Word of the Lord will pour forth from His daughter. I am excited and thankful for a God that prevails and an enemy that is defeated!!! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 10, 2021

Warfare is real and not everyone is going to like you. This is something my heart and mind battle with because I tend to take it so personally, but God is showing me it’s not always me but the spirit within me that they are contending with. Read that again. There are are some people who will NEVER like you because your spirits clash. Don’t for one second change who you are to concede to their demands. The Lord goes before you and fights for you and eventually the wicked will fall. Search your heart and take it before the Lord. When you’ve done that and you truly know the conflict is not coming from you, walk away. If you can’t walk away, trust the Lord to lift you up as He fights with you on your behalf, but don’t you for one second beat yourself up over it. If your spirit is clashing with theirs, there is a reason. Allow yours to shine brighter through it! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.” ~ Psalm 147:6

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 9

For day 9, I am thankful for my home office. My Father has already dubbed it my “war room.” It is not merely a place to work. It is a place to pray, to study, and to grow closer to my Poppa. I can go into it feeling one way and watch the atmosphere change as I come out. It is my peaceful place and my safe haven from the world; yet it is where I can go to war against things not of this world. I am so thankful for this much needed space and I can’t wait to see all that God is going to do here! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I was under heavy attack from the enemy yesterday, it felt like rapid gunfire that just would not let up. Admittedly, by night I broke down and did not handle it very well. This morning as I prayed I said, “Poppa I failed miserably.” Oh, but my loving Father, His understanding is infinite! As I drew closer to Him, He drew closer me. He did not condemn me, He equipped me for the next attack because it will happen. What an awesome God we serve and His power is greater that of the enemy. We glean our strength and wisdom from Him for the battles ahead. The devil is the father of lies. He may win a few battles, but he will NEVER win the war! Remember that. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 8

For day 8, I am thankful for my nieces and nephews. I can’t have children, but God sure blessed me with 6 awesome nieces and nephews. These kids are the apples of my eye! I could not be more honored or proud to be their Aunt. They are each special and unique in their own way and there is nothing better than watching them grow along life’s journey. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 8, 2021

Oh child of God if He has numbered the stars and remembers every single one of their names, He knows yours and sees what you are going through! I felt that as I typed it! Your Father knows you better than anyone else and He knows the battles your facing, you do not face them alone. When you feel secluded and like you are drowning in the pits of despair all alone it is a lie from the enemy. Don’t buy into it. Look up to your Father and no matter how hard it is turn up that praise music and sing along if it’s just a whisper. When you invite praise into the atmosphere that spirit of oppression has to leave, it can’t abide around praise! When Jesus died in the cross, He left us the Holy Spirit as our comforter. You are never alone. He’s right there with you. Lift your arms in praise and feel His presence. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 7

For day 7, I am thankful for my mother and father-law. They have been an incredible blessing in my life. It is awesome to know I have them praying over me and Jackie and that they are there when we need them. I’ve never had that in any relationship before! I enjoy our conversations when we are together and I am just blessed beyond measure to have them in my life. Just so thankful!!! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

It seems like every time I open up my Facebook page I am overwhelmed with the heartbreak staring back at me. The enemy is wreaking havoc in the lives of so many that I care dearly about. It angers me at him, but I want you to read this verse and then read it again out loud. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” ~ Psalm 147:3 My friends, I am a witness that the Lord will bind those gapping wounds and heal that broken heart. All you have to do is give it to Him. I can’t even tell you how many times I cry out to my Poppa and He NEVER tires, He never says enough, He never pushes me away, and He never loses patience with me. To bind is to tie or fasten something tightly. It is to cohere or cause to cohere in a single mass. If you are lost, if your hurting, if you are completely broken… turn to the ONLY one that can bind those wounds, heal that heart, turn to your Abba Father. He’s waiting. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” ~ Psalm 147:3

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 6

For day 6, I am thankful for my brothers. My life has had some pretty crazy twist and turns. Some of my life choices have been disastrous, but these two have always had my back regardless! So many times I have called them crying, just needing someone to listen. It doesn’t matter what I need, they are there and I am so very thankful. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Your help comes from above! This verse hit me hard. It isn’t because I tend to look for others for help, but because I try so hard to do it all myself and it reminded that that just won’t work either. Whether you are someone like me that tends to take the weight all on your own shoulders or someone constantly looking for help from others, it just won’t work for you. We were made to get our help from above. Are you sinking? Look up! That is where you will find your help. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

For day 5, I am thankful for my mom. She has stood beside me through so much, sharing both Godly wisdom and wisdom she has gleaned from this life. I am very blessed to still have her and the wealth of knowledge she has to impart into me. She instilled a strong work ethic within me and solid CHRISTian foundation to build my life on. I am so thankful for my mom. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I can tell you with all certainty that these verses are true! When you call out to your Heavenly Father He hears you and He responds in a way that is best for you. It may not be how you wanted or in the time you wanted, but it will always be with your best interest in mind. I can also tell you the closer you walk with Him, the more your desires become those of His and He loves to see them fulfilled in our lives. He ALWAYS hears our cries and will save us, this certified cry baby can attest to that! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“18 The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. 19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.” ~ Psalms 145:18-19

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 4

For day 4, I am thankful for April. God gave me this little dog just when my heart needed her most and He knew just that. Shortly after getting her I found out I could not have children and she became momma’s baby. She sits up on my lap as we watch tv, she studies my face intently as I talk to her, she licks the tears away as I cry and lets me cuddle her like a teddy bear, and if I’m sick or upset she never leaves my side. Every morning I anoint my head with oil and she bows her little head with her paws down in a prayer posture as I anoint hers. She has her momma’s heart and I am so thankful. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What hope and strength there is in this verse. It says “The Lord upholdeth all that fall.” I looked up “upholdeth” and it is “to support; to sustain; to keep from falling or slipping.” It goes on to say that He, “raiseth up all those that be bowed down.” God already knew we would fall because we are human, but He picks us up when we bow down in forgiveness. He then gives us sustaining support so that we don’t fall again. As we continue to walk closely to Him and listen to His voice, He keeps us from slipping or falling again. What an awesome God we serve! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.” ~ Psalm 145:14

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 3

For day 3, I am thankful for us. I have been through a couple of really mentally abusive relationships. They changed everything about me, especially the way my mind processes things. Recovering from those is a challenge not only for me, but for the man that God has blessed me with. He has been so very patient with me and loves me on those days I find it difficult to love myself. He believes in me and the dreams God has placed in my heart and I believe in him! God brought us together for a reason and I am so very thankful. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: November 3, 2021

My momma came in the kitchen this evening to find me in complete tears, “I’ll do it she said, your face is even blotchy.” “No, sometimes you just need to talk to your Poppa I exclaimed.” She left and “Even When it Hurts” by Hillsong United came on my playlist. I began to pray in my prayer language with tears streaming until I could not even stir the hamburger any longer and I heard my Poppa say, I see you daughter, I see you. I felt such a peace wash over me. Something broke in the atmosphere. This verse reminds of that.

The enemy is raging my friends and he is out to steal destinies and destroy lives, but God is our strength and He teaches us how to fight back. Tonight praise and prayer was my weapon and God responded directly to my cries. I told Him I was weary and He said I see you daughter not once but twice. He repeated it and then renewed my strength. Glory hallelujah, I feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit even as I write this. If the enemy is coming at you, get up and fight. Turn up that praise music and pray and if you don’t know what to pray, if you don’t have the words… give it to the Holy Spirit to speak for you. If you don’t have a prayer language seek the Lord for that gift because it is life changing and I promise your relationship with the Lord will never be the same! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:” ~ Psalm 144:1

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 2

For day 2, I am thankful for God’s presence all around me. Did you know He even has angels watching over you? My momma has prayed angels around me ever since I can remember. Our Father loves to commune with us. I love to just sit in His presence and listen to His heart. I also love walks alone where I can talk to Him. There is no more peaceful place to be than the center of my Poppa’s presence. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse could not be more perfect for the morning I had, I love when my Poppa does that! I’ve been going through some things and this morning I was just in tears. I felt impressed to reach out to two precious sisters and within that I found the Lord helping me with this very thing. There are things I need to conquer and the Lord is using my sisters to this so that He can lead me on down the path of my destiny in Him! He is teaching me to listen to His voice and He will provide the help I need. Oh Poppa, fashion my heart to seek You and Your will in all things! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” ~ Psalm 143:10

Sharing 30 Days of a Thankful Heart: Day 1

For day 1, I’m thankful for the blood of Jesus that set me free and His never ending grace that is so patient with me. I’m telling you, my Poppa has a never ending supply of patience with this daughter! I’ve ran and He’s taken me back. I’ve made the same mistakes and He’s forgiven me and shown me where I went wrong. I get tired and cry like a baby and He becomes my strength. His grace covers me when I just don’t deserve it and I am so very thankful! Glory hallelujah and praise His Holy name, I am free! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Is there a full moon? No? Hmmm. Yeah, it was that kind of day. I sat in quiet reflection. Tears began to well up from my eyes. Poppa, I did hear Your voice right? It’s funny how when one thing goes wrong it triggers a domino effect of so many others or so it seems. The illusion of everything crashing down can make you think you are completely off course, but God knew every step you were going to make before you made it and He already had it factored into the equation. He knew your very thoughts before you even thought them! He planned through them! Don’t allow the enemy to break you down, the Lord will use those very things that are crashing around you to build you up! Dry your eyes (I’m drying mine) and draw close to your Poppa. He’s got the master plan to set those dominos back up and plant them even firmer! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse touched my heart in such an amazing way when I read it. My life has taken such incredible twist and turns. A lot of those turns were a direct result of my missteps, but I have such an awesome loving Heavenly Father. He has peppered my steps with an unspeakable amount of grace. I could not outrun Him, I could not make mistakes that out favor Him, nothing I could do could exhaust His grace. He had a plan for me and my life and because of THAT He WILL PERFECT that which CONCERNS me. WOW, what an awesome God we serve. My friends, this grace and perfection I speak of is the same over you and your life! What an awesome nugget of gold we have in this verse. Hold it close to your heart and repeat it boldly when the enemy tries to convince you he’s winning. You are your Father’s son or daughter and He will perfect that which concerneth you! 💛~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse is really in my spirit this morning. I woke to read about so many of my brothers and sisters walking through troubles. The enemy is running rampant here on earth, but he is NOT the final authority. Our Father’s hand stretches clear from heaven and it is STRONG against the enemy and he will NOT prevail. I have felt a strong urge to be called into prayer and a relentless calling to not give up, but to keep pressing and interceding in this season. God is in control. His right hand will save you and me. I don’t know what you are facing, but I promise it is not bigger than God. Draw close to Him. Listen for His voice, can you hear it? He wants to speak to you personally, yes you! Quiet yourself and allow your heart to listen to Him today. He is the one that will lift you from whatever it is the enemy is pressing against you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Where do you draw your strength from? Today’s verse says, “In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.” Our strength comes from above, all we have to do is ASK for it. It can be in the form of tears, He hears those those words our hearts can’t speak too. What conversation do you need to have with your Father today? He’s listening. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse is something to excited about my friends. With a STRONG hand and with a STRETCHED out arm that extends clear from Heaven our Father’s mercy endures forever! You can’t outrun it, you can’t dodge it, you can’t even quit it! Hallelujah and Glory to God that deserves a praise shout. We can’t do anything on our own and we don’t have to, that’s what our Poppa is for! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Our Father sees every tear we cry. This verse says they that sow in tears shall reap in joy! That is some promise and God’s Word is not one to lie! It goes on to say that those who go forth weeping and bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bring in his sheaves. WOW! Are you going through something? Keep pressing with the seeds of faith and watch them flourish my friends! Those tears are watering the grounds that contain the precious seeds that are going to burst forth in your favor. No one can stop the favor of God. Keep pressing, keep drawing to Him, He’s got you! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Today was a high migraine for me, but my Poppa carried me through it! It caused me to stop and reflect on today’s verse. Our Father will preserve us from the evil that tries so hard to pull us under, that tries to tarnish our shine, and pull us from His presence. He alone preserves our soul. The devil is a liar who just can’t win. He may think he wins small battles within this war, but he doesn’t win the ultimate war. The Lord protects and preserves His children, He polishes the tarnishes and scratches our armor takes. Straighten your crown child, your Poppa is King and He’s got you through this battle, He’s got you! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Today’s society is tricky. We have those in some places that are clear with their ill intentions, yet others are a bit more hidden in their intent. We hear a lot about peace, yet if you watch closely people’s actions tend to directly contradict the very thing they are claiming to be for. What do their actions produce? Are they producing peace or spurring more conflict? It is truly a time when we each must seek God to discern in every single area of our life lest we be deceived and be pulled in the wrong direction. Seek Him and He will provide the discernment for us in this turbulent times. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I sat on my bed with tears streaming. Something my Poppa is very familiar with. This verse hit home more than I cared to admit. Ahhh, but my loving Father. I could hear Him saying give it to me daughter. I will not fail you. People always let me down Poppa, always. Your trust should be in Me, not in them. But Poppa… in Me daughter. I put really high expectations on myself, I guess I expect the same of others and the only one that can meet those expectations are my Father who loves me so dearly. Today’s lesson (that I too often forget) is to stop placing my trust in man and to keep my trust in God, He will never let me down. ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” ~ Psalm 118:8

Yes Lord! I have been so sick over the last several months. I went to the ER, urgent care (a couple of times), and my PCP. They were treating me for thrush, but it was not getting better. Each time I would be on the medicine longer. The last time my PCP said she would refer me to a specialist if it didn’t get better, it didn’t. Friday I went to my diabetes Dr. and was in tears over my mouth. She looked at it and ask if one of their Dr.’s could look at it. Their Dr. came in, looked at it, and immediately diagnosed it as something completely different! It needs to be treated completely different as well! I made an appointment with that Dr. and this afternoon started a treatment of steroids. That was a Devine appointment by God. My diabetes Dr. was diligent in my care, the other Dr. was at the right place at the right time and had the knowledge needed for my health! God worked it all out in His timing! The Lord truly answered me in my distress. I am so thankful for the God we serve! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

There is a LOT going on in this world. The enemy has blinded and confused the masses. To vaccinate or not seems to be creating a division among many people, as the government tries to force its control over people. Little freedoms slowly being taken away and people don’t even realize it as they willing relinquish control. BUT God. He still sits High above all nations on the throne, He is still King of Kings, He alone is still in control and everything is happening according to HIS master plan. What do we do in these times when things seem to be out of His hands? Draw close to Him! Listen to His voice, move according to His prompting, and trust His voice. I love this verse. As I read it, I am reminded that we have angels watching over us who excel in our Father’s strength. They do the will of my Father and when our will is aligned with His will, they are working with us! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Today is World Mental Health Day. Mental health is something a lot of people shy away from talking about, but it is so very important. I’ve seen a spike in suicide calls in our community. I have made no secret my own struggles with depression because I want people to know it’s okay to not be okay, it’s okay to ask for help, it’s so very important to know you are not struggling alone. The devil likes to seclude us and make us think we are alone in this fight. The devil is a liar! While it is true we are all going through individual struggles you are not alone. Today’s Scripture really hit home for me. I had prayed for a verse for Mental Health Day. I looked up at my wall and today’s was in it from a precious friend, I felt in my spirit it was perfect. Whatever any of us are going through, cast that thing upon the Lord and HE will sustain us. Y’all, our Father has us! I’ll be honest, I’ve been sick and my mental state has been worn down. When I read this verse I felt it deep in my spirit not just for me, but for so many of you. The enemy is hitting so many I love hard. It’s time to tell him he is a liar. Cast those things he is throwing on us to our Abba Father! I prayed warring angels around me this morning, I prayed ministering angels around me. I don’t want to play with the enemy, I want to eradicate him! Today on World Mental Health Day, take some time for YOU because YOU are worth it. If you’re not okay, talk about it with someone. Cast your burdens upon the one who loves you, that’s what I’m doing today. And my friends, I am here praying you through! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

As things in this world grow more complex, draw closer to your Father. He alone has the answers the world is trying to throw at you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Oh this verse! I can’t even tell you how true it is!! In the last 48 hours my Poppa has showed up for this household in the biggest way. He has met so many needs that were beyond my control to meet. All I could say was BUT GOD and give Him the glory! He will lay your situation on people’s hearts, that bill that should be turned off with just stay on until the check comes through… and let me tell you, He’s not a way ahead of time God. He’s a right on time God. So don’t be discouraged or afraid when you things don’t happen in your timing, His timing is not like our own. He can also turn back the hands of time and give you what you thought had been lost. Prayer is the key that unlocks it all my precious friends so draw close to Him today. I had a horrible migraine today and barely got laundry the done and the kitchen cleaned. When I woke this evening I once again looked up those precious words touch not mine anointed. Our Poppa sees this as so important that He puts it in His Word not once, but TWICE and He repeats it word for word. WOW! I see and hear so much that leaves me scratching my head and then I read verse 6. The world cannot understand the ways of the Lord. They condemn it, they make fun of it. I was just praying earlier this week, Poppa I just don’t fit in. I’m different. I read today’s verses and my heart smiles. Our Father’s thoughts are deep and He has created His daughter to get lost in His thoughts and be different from the rest. I’m okay with that! This afternoon something I had been waiting on for years finally came to a conclusion and I received my release. As I read the decree, I had tears streaming down my cheeks. I just could not believe what I was reading. I had begged and pleaded with this person, nothing. It was only when I put it into my Father’s hand that this whole drawn out thing finally came to an end. I closed my eyes and heard my Father say to me, Did I not tell you daughter it would happen in my timing? I then saw in a vision of squares and each square had a dove carrying a branch or leaf. This verse. Tears streaming. Oh how I just needed tucked away under the shadow of my Poppa today. At the end of the day, I sat in silence. Help me Poppa. It’s all too much. Some days are just like that, but you know what? I so often tend to forget my shoulders weren’t made to carry it all, but I serve the one’s who’s are! All I have to do is give it Him AND leave it there. I tend to give it to Him and then pick it back up, He never intended for us to do that. The Lord doesn’t promise we will live in peaceful times, but He promises He will speak peace to His people. He alone can offer peace in the midst of a storm. He can give a peace that surpasses all understanding, but we must not turn again to folly and there is an awful lot of folly in this world. It needs our prayers now more than ever. The Bible says family members will start turning against each other. I was reading posts the other day where people were arguing about the COVID shot and it became nasty and the way people turned on one another was just a taste of what is to come. The day isn’t coming when you must depend on the Lord, the day is already here. He alone is the peace and safety that will see you through. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

So many things are speaking out against God, how long will He be silent? Sins used to be done in secret, now they are done proudly and boldly with crowds cheering them along, encouraging the others to join their groups. The enemy has convinced mass amounts of people that Biblical wrong is right and Biblical right is an intolerable injustice of not accepting things, people, or situations as they are. The enemy has completely confused reality and God is the only answer to lift the cloud of confusion. It is time to pray to make it through the day and be shielded from the enemy around you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“1 [[A Song [or] Psalm of Asaph.]] Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.” ~ Psalms 83:1-2

Last weekend in prayer the Lord gave me “War Room” in my spirit as I prayed and studied in my new office. It is the new command post for His work. Today I was asking Him for a verse for the battle He is equipping me for and immediately 2 Chronicles 2 7:14 leaped to my mind and spirit. Our land needs healing as it never has needed before. I’ve been chewing on this verse all day. Does it resonate with you too? 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

I’ve had a rough couple of days, but when I cried out unto the Lord He heard my cries and comforted my heart. We all go through times like that in life, the important thing is to draw closer to God during those times and allow Him to comfort your soul through them. Those are opportunities to grow and to watch to Him work! The enemy is raging right now seeking to destroy and devour who he can. Anyone who has read the Bible knows our Father already won the war so if you are on His side you are guaranteed victory, you only need to keep going. Dig into safety of your Father’s wings when you need to rest. Cry out to Him when you need help. Suit up in your armor at all times, because the enemy never rest! Rest assured victory is your s child of God, keep pressing! 💛 ~ Chelle #f8ithgal

Glory Hallelujah, Jesus is still King of the earth regardless of what mandates are passed here in America by our sitting President! We are living the end days straight out of the book of Revelations and things are headed right toward the mark of the beast. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? He’s calling the lost and it’s so easy to answer the call, all you need to do is ask Him to forgive you for your sins. Send me a message. I’d be happy to walk you down the Roman’s road to salvation. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Today’s verse is an awesome verse on just how to make it in today’s world: draw near to God and put our trust in Him. COVID is on the rise again and the economy seems unstable. I will sing of Thy praises forever. The world hated our Savior so much they hung Him on a cross, so why would followers of Him think they would be embraced for following after His ways? I’m okay with not following the crowd and I’m okay with not being liked as long as my beliefs follow the Word of God. I’m thankful God upholds me when others try to bring me harm. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

There is no comfort like the comfort that comes from the Holy Spirit. The great and sore troubles we experience draw us closer to Him. They are also training grounds for where He wants us to be and the people we will help along the way. Not one thing we go through is wasted. God sees what we don’t and He has a plan for every step and tear along the way. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The battle is not yours, it is God’s. That is what I heard in my spirit as I began to write this. They may think they hate you, but they hate the spirit within you. It is not you they are coming up against, but the Spirit that dwells within you. Let them go and let God deal with them. When you harbor hate or upset over it, it gets into your spirit. God’s got this and you, let Him work. You keep being you and allowing His light to shine through you. He will take care of the rest. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The Holy Spirit just spoke to me as I read today’s verses. I reread them and began to think about the calling God has on my life. Then I began to think about how He calls so many who are afraid to operate in that calling. Whether it is fear of not hearing Him correctly, fear of others not listening or believing, fear of what others think, so many reasons. When we operate in the spirit we move out of that flesh and blood that holds us back. The blood of Jesus destroys fears and breaks things that holds us back from our Christ given destiny. We all have a destiny, whether it is to preach or do something else for His Kingdom. Don’t allow the enemy to hold you back from all that God has for you as His child. Open the eyes to our hearts Lord and help us to walk closer with You. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called [me] by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:” ~ Galatians 1:15-16

If it doesn’t come from God’s Word, it’s not the Word you follow period. You can’t bend the truth, you can’t dilute it, and you can’t change it to “update” it with the times. It is unchanging. If any man preaches to you anything other than the Word this verse says let him be accursed. We must study the word ourselves and not feed on just anything set before us. We aren’t here to please man, but to honor Christ. That is definitely something to think about. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” ~ Galatians 1:9-10

God has led me to the book of Galatians. As I stated it off this morning, I too marveled as I began to think on how we have perverted the gospel of Christ. My spirit became grieved as I began to think on how society has twisted it to fit into their own ideals and preconceived notions. I have a replica of 12 week aborted baby in my office that I had not unpacked yet, it was in a cup. My 7 year old niece found it and said, “Aunt Chelle, why do you have a baby in a cup?” A 7 year old could tell it was a baby, but we are still killing them in the wound. I unpacked him/her out of the cup today and put them on my desk as a reminder that the unborn are God’s children too. Those are just one of the ways that the enemy has allowed us to pervert the gospel and we have become too blinded to even see it. There are so many more, if you pray for the Lord to remove the blinders from your eyes you will see them too. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” ~ Galatians 1:6-7

I shall not be, I shall not be moved … that just rang through my spirit ad I read today’s verses. Like a tree planted by the water, I shall not be moved! God has me, He has you too. God is for us. That’s all that really matters. I’ve been feeling a little out of sorts lately, out of place I guess. Kind of like I don’t fit in with certain groups or more like I stick out, completely out of place. Poppa, I’m so completely different than most people. I don’t think they “get” me. I feel like I’m stumbling along, looking silly. Then I hear my Father whisper, you are mine, wonderfully made in my image and the right people will appreciate all of you. Sometimes you just clash with people because your spirits don’t agree. Be you anyways! They didn’t like Jesus either, let your light shine knowing God is your covering. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Whatever the need, He meets it. I’m just thankful for my Poppa and the cleansing tears He catches! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Wow, what a timely verse for me. I love it when God does that! I had my first appointment with my endocrinologist today and a big factor I noticed against my health is stress! It does so much harm from my headaches to this issue I’m having in my mouth to my diabetes to the list is really endless. So tonight I am REALLY reflecting on this verse. All I have to do is cast my burdens on the Lord and He WILL sustain me. I don’t need to toss and turn at night. I don’t need to worry and overthink. I need to pray and give it to my Poppa, He’s got me. I don’t know if anyone else needed this little reminder this evening, but I sure did! ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I’ve often wondered how people cannot believe in God. This verse says they are a fool. It also says they are corrupt and have abominable iniquity. When I look around, I see so much of that today and it grieves my heart. People’s eyes are closed, blinded by the enemy. We need to unite in prayer. We are leaving in a time that believes evil is good and good is being restricted. We need to pray pray pray as we keep allowing our light for Christ shine! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgak

Not being liked used to be something that bothered me more than anything. I tried so hard to please everyone, I probably still try too hard at times if I’m honest. But today’s verses are clear, not everyone is going to like us. I’ve met some people that seemed to dislike me before they ever knew me. Why Poppa? They recognized the Spirit within me! I’m okay with that. His light shines through me and it is going to clash with the world. I’ll keep shining anyways! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Love one another. It’s really that simple. Be kind to the people you meet, offer them a warm sincere smile as you go about your day. That smile might be the only kindness their days sees. You have no idea what people are facing behind closed doors, is it so hard to offer kindness to those we meet? Christ gave His life while we yet sinners. He loved us where we were going to be, right in our mess. We should continue in that same love. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” ~ John 15:9-10

“6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” ~ John 15:6-8

These verses are full of so much promise! NOTHING can separate us from the love of God and we have the blood of Jesus to thank for that!!! “38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 8:38-39

Things in life happen, that’s a fact. But NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ, it is written right in His Word so it is a FACT. It also says we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. What are you facing today? It is not greater than the One who made you! It is not greater than His love for you. Anything that tries to convince you of anything else is a lie from the pit of hell and you need to send that thought back cancelled and denied! Child of God, look to up to your Father the author and finisher of your faith. You ARE more than a conqueror through Christ and this mountain before you will not defeat you. Declare a thing in the name of Christ and watch it move! You’ve got this, because God’s got you! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Whew, this verse! The last several days I have felt like anything that could go wrong did. Today I found myself completely irritable and this evening as I sat down to write this, I found myself overwhelmed with emotion as tears spilled down my cheeks. Poppa, I can’t do this alone. I feel the world is against me. Ah, my daughter, but I am for you. I reread today’s verse with tears now falling hard as I heard again, my daughter I am for you. Hard times are certain to come and difficult people with them. Not everyone standing in your corner is “in” your corner, but God is for you and that is really all that matters. There are some days when I just don’t know how to pray. Have you been there? It will make intercession for you. If it weren’t so, it would not be written in God’s Word. So when you don’t have the words, give it to God and allow the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.” ~ Romans 8:26-27

Several times I felt the condemning tone of others over the last day or two. I sat with tears stinging my cheeks as I internalized their words, taking every single one to heart. I began to feel a whisper in my spirit, there is no condemnation in Christ. It grew louder and louder until I looked for the verse I knew all too well and read it aloud, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” ~ Romans 8:1 I sat in quiet reflection. This condemnation was not coming from God. It was not constructive, it was destructive. It was not for my building, it to belittle. The spirit surrounding it was not Christ like. Shake it off daughter. There is no condemnation in me. I build up, I don’t tear down. But Poppa, why do people do those things? Then I immediately thought, does it even matter? A person must be pretty unhappy, I wonder if they even realize they come across as so condescending? Don’t allow the way others treat you cause you to in turn internalize how you view yourself. You are enough, you are doing great, you are worthy, you were chosen by God for a specific purpose that only you can do. Don’t allow anyone to take away your sparkle! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

In deep conversations with my Poppa, He has told me it’s because He’s given me His heart. Wow. How can I do anything but embrace who I am, tears and all? When I read today’s verse, I felt it. It’s two words, but powerful ones. “Jesus wept.” ~ John 11:35 He was God in human form and He had emotions like you and me. He expressed deep sorrow with tears. He wept. This verse just got me today as we laid my cousin to rest. I saw so many tears falling. We will see her again because of the blood of Jesus that allows us to leave this world to a better place and avoid the sting of death. Jesus still weeps for the lost and is calling them to repentance. I couldn’t help but feel tears falling down my cheeks for those He is calling. It’s not not too late. Listen to His voice, He’s calling. He is the way, the truth, and the light. He can reach down in your pit of despair and lift you out. Drugs, depression… whatever it is, it is no match for the blood of Jesus, He weeps for YOU! Answer His call. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Jesus wept.” ~ John 11:35

The light of Jesus will penetrate into the very darkness that tries to claim you! The devil seeks to destroy while Jesus seeks to heal. He will pull you deeper into the darkness that is trying to consume you while Jesus pulls you away into the light. When you are walking with your Father you start to lose your taste for those things of the world. As you draw closer to Him, He starts to cleanse and purge you from those things that the devil tries to hold over you. Walking with your Father and a close relationship with Him is the key. He wants to talk to you and wants it to be a two way conversation. Share with Him all that you feel and listen for Him to respond to your heart. He will always guide you out of the darkness. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” ~ John 8:12

“And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” ~ James 3:18

One cannot sow in discord and expect peace. You must actively sow in peace to create an environment of peace and when you do, this verse promises you will reap the fruit of righteousness. What a promise! It’s important to note peace cannot abide in a toxic environment. Sometimes people are not willing to let go of that toxicity and all you can do is shake the dust from your feet and pray from a distance. Don’t allow your peace to be disrupted because they want to sow in discord. ~ 💛 Chelle, #f8ithgal

I am so thankful for the wisdom of God. When you need direction and you pray for wisdom God hears you. And when we responds and you walk in that wisdom it creates a peace like no other. There is nothing like walking with God and growing with Him. I am so thankful for my Poppa and His love for me. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” ~ James 3:17

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 23, 2021

Stop and read this verse again. God is not in envy and strife. Confusion comes from the enemy, God is not in it. If there is strife, God is not the source, dig deeper to the root of the problem. Pray and ask God to reveal it and pull it up from the roots. If you don’t, it will only grow out of control. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“16 For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.” ~ James 3:16

Oh my heart the timing of this verse! I have had a really difficult week. I have an appointment on Monday that is pressing in my nerves and I could hear my Father whispering daughter where is your faith?! The weight of these verses really impressed upon me as I read them this evening. I love how the Holy Spirit works! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” ~ James 2:17-18

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 20, 2021

Was someone watching me today? Ohhh… it was You Poppa! The timing of this verse was perfect. I felt like my patience was being pressed all evening and after reading this verse, I had to ask my Father for forgiveness. I had read it this morning, yet I felt my nerves about to snap as they were stretched and pressed and tears welling up in my eyes. This verse was a reminder that I needed to just stop and pray and give it all to God. Thank You Poppa for always being on time. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” ~ James 1:19-20

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 19, 2021

I love this verse. There have been so many times in my life that I have begged God for what I thought I wanted. I just knew it was what I needed, but He knew better. This verse reminds me every good gift, every PERFECT gift is from Him. There is no darkness in it, it doesn’t bring strife or worry… it is perfect when it comes from my Poppa. I’m so thankful for these gifts. I’ve been reflecting on this a lot lately as He moves the blocks of my life into place. Somethings are just worth the wait! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” ~ James 1:17

You can’t please the Lord and please man. The instability of trying to serve both will eventually begin to surface. It’s a heart issue. Where is your heart pulling you towards? The world has fallen away from God and while His ways are often unpopular, they will never lead you wrong. It is never been more important to have a close relationship with Him. It’s not what is popular that matters, it is what He leads you to that makes all the difference. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.” ~ James 1:8

God’s ways are not like our ways. His plans for us are greater than we could ever imagine. When you have a close relationship with Him, He will enlighten you to things as you go. “As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the spirit, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.” ~ Ecclesiastes 11:5

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 14, 2021

Oh today’s verse is a good one! We live in a time where people don’t speak with wisdom, they just spout off whatever comes into their head. It doesn’t matter if they have anything to support it, they say what they think and don’t tend to care who it offends. God gives us a wisdom to be gracious and speak in a way that is not offensive but offers clarity and extends love. It’s all about the position of your heart! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“The words of a wise man’s mouth [are] gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.” ~ Ecclesiastes 10:12

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 13, 2021

Wisdom comes from God. He is the key to unlocking so many of life’s questions, if only we’d seek Him. When you reach the point where you are walking with God and seeking Him, your whole countenance just changes. His light shines through you and others start to pick up on His light. It’s amazing. It’s transforming. It’s life changing. How much time are you spending with your Father? The more you spend with Him, the more you glean and the more you are filled with His light. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.” ~ Ecclesiastes 8:1

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 12, 2021

When God repeats something in His Word it’s important. In this verse, He ask, “is there any thing too hard for me?” In yesterday’s verse we were told there was nothing too hard for God and today He is reminding us that He is God of all flesh before challenging is there anything too hard for Him? No, there is not! It doesn’t matter how tall the mountain or how dark the valley, God has you. Dig into the One who made them all and keep pressing. There is nothing the enemy can throw at you that God is not prepared for. It’s exciting to see how He will mold you and for whatever the battle ahead! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What a verse, full of so much promise! Has the Lord promised you something? Hold on to it, He is not slack concerning His promises! And He doesn’t want any to perish! It’s time for God’s children to spread the word of His goodness. The devil wants to keep it concealed. What has your Father done for you lately?! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” ~ 2 Peter 3:9

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: July 8, 2021

I am so thankful that my Poppa has patience with me, but I also know the wicked will not go unpunished and time is fleeting. Our time on this earth is limited and we need to spread the word of our Father before our days end. It’s time for the army of the Lord to arise and pull as many as we can from the pits of hell. 💛 ~Chelle, #f8ithgal

I have some special people in my life going through some pretty serious things right now. I just want to encourage those in the valley to hold on and look up to the Lord. Lift your voice to Him and give Him praise even where you are because He hears you and He is the one to bring you out of that valley! The devil is a liar, do not let him convince you it ends where you are. You serve the God who sees all, knows, all and is all. There is nothing too hard for Him. Don’t you give up, you pray and praise your way through this season. God has more for you on the other side! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.” ~ Micah 7:7

These verses really caught in my spirit this afternoon. The Lord’s thoughts and ways are not like our own. You have to walk with Him to hear His voice. You have to be in tuned with His Spirit to pick up on His frequency. He will teach You His ways, He will share His thoughts but you have to be willing to let go of old mindsets and stale beliefs. So many are going to be sheaves being beat into pieces for lack of listening and no want of understanding. I want my Poppa’s ways. Cleanse me from mine. Open my eyes, unstop my ears. Mold me and make me, teach me to hear Your voice and know discern Your thoughts in Jesus name! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. 13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.” ~ Micah 4:12-13

There is freedom through the blood of Jesus, have you been set free from the yoke of bondage? God is calling us to a new level in Him. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited! We are celebrating our freedom here in the USA during a time when so many freedoms are at risk of being pulled away. Those very freedoms men and woman are fighting for are slowly being infringed upon and people don’t even realize it. Freedom of speech in the area of religion is a big one. We are really big on offending everyone except God. Times are changing, it’s never been more important to tune your spiritual ears into the right frequency and indeed stand fast on the liberty wherewith we were made free. That freedom can’t be taken away. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” ~ Galatians 5:1

While I was scrolling verses this morning, this one just stood out to me. Everything we do should be done from a place of love. Not out of a place of obligation or what we may get back. If you can’t act out of love, why act at all.? There comes a point in each of our lives when we need someone else. So whatever you do, do it out of love. You never know when that love is going to come back to you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Does anyone else struggle with patience? Oh how my Poppa works with me in this area! But you know what? He ALWAYS hears my cries and He ALWAYS lifts me from where I am while the sweet Holy Spirit guides me to where I need to be! 💛 ~

“1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, [and] established my goings.” ~ Psalms 40:1-2

Going through a tough time? The Lord is your strength in a time of trouble. It is Him that will help AND deliver you from what you are going through. So many times we seek help from everyone around us when we need to look up to the one who created the heavens and earth. There is nothing too hard for our God. All we need to to is ask and seek His will for the outcome. Then comes the really hard part, having patience for Him to work it all out. He will, it may just not be the way we envisioned it; but, it will always be for our best! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“39 But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the LORD: [he is] their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.” ~ Psalms 37:39-40

Today’s verses are a perfect reminder that falling doesn’t matter, getting back up is what counts. We have a loving Father who forgives and extends His hand to us. Our steps our ordered, He has counted every one. He knows them before we make them and He has even considered our errors. Have you fallen? Get back up, your Father is not finished with you yet. As long as you have breath in your body you have work left for Him to do! ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“23 The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth [him with] his hand.” ~ Psalms 37:23-24

“16 A little that a righteous man hath [is] better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.” ~ Psalms 37:16-17

Thank You Poppa for this timely reminder. It’s hard when someone hurts you or even more so when they hurt someone you love. My first instinct is to defend them, but God sees everything. He sees what we don’t. He sees those things people think they are doing in secret while they show a different side to the world, yes He sees it all. Acting out only brings us down to their level. So what do we do? We pay for them, we pray for the situation, we pray for everyone involved, we pray about our own feelings for forgiveness, we just pray. We place it all into God’s hands and trust Him to do as He sees fits. Again, He sees what we don’t and knows what is best. Don’t allow the hurt turn to anger and bitterness. Give it to God and allow Him to work it all out. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.” ~ Psalms 37:8-9

When my desires line up with my Father’s desires and I commit myself to that path, those desires will come to pass. It doesn’t matter what the situation looks like, I just need to decree that thing and keep pressing towards it. You see we have an enemy that will do everything he can to wear us down and out. He will try to convince us we have been forsaken and that vision is not coming to pass. He is the father of lies and you need to press on anyways! Things are not always what they appear, place your trust in Your Father and keep going! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.” ~ Psalms 37:4-5

“For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” It’s really that simple, all it takes is one word from the Lord, just one word and everything can turn around! It doesn’t matter what that report says, it doesn’t matter what that situation looks like, all that matters is what God says! What is He saying to you? What is He speaking to you about your situation? Lean into Him, listen for His voice, and raise your hands in praise for what He says He will do, He will do! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What a powerful verse! I’ve learned (the hard way) that my understanding is misleading and to lean into the Lord for understanding and to allow the Holy Spirit to guide me. I’ve also learned not to be so quick to respond, but to seek my Father for the action I should take. There are still times my mouth gets ahead of me and it’s almost always not for my good! This verse is one to bring to mind in situations such as those. I need to always think before I speak and always seek my Father, He will open up my understanding so that I am not trying to fix something I rushed into. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I am so far from perfect, but so thankful to be washed in the blood of Jesus. I’m no longer bound to the sin that once held me captive. The enemy tries to blind us and keep us bound so that we don’t walk in the freedom the blood has given us. He is a liar doomed to damnation and I’m determined to work for my Father’s Kingdom to save as many as possible from those flames. I am my Father’s daughter and He will use my life to turn around the lives others! He can use yours too! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This verse just caught my attention as I read it. So many are looking for signs and I hear them talking about the meaning of this moon and that and this event that has not occurred in so many years and what does it foretell?! the Bible says clearly not to be dismayed by these things. Learn the ways of God and what is in His Word. Draw close to Him and trust Him for what tomorrow brings. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I was reading this verse this afternoon and began to reflect on being clay in the master Potter’s hands. He molds us and shapes us. He bends and refines us. He smooths out inconsistencies and lumps and turns us into the perfect vessel that He intended us to be to deliver His message for his Kingdom. I’m happy to be clay in my Poppa’s hands and to know He’s molding me into the person I should be. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This is absolutely one of my favorite Bible passages. My Father brings me back here so often. It’s not just Him bringing beauty from my ashes that touches me so much from these verses but that He calls me and uses me to encourage others through what I’ve been through. I’m the vessel He uses to pour forth His oil to bind wounds and release souls that the enemy was determined to keep bound. Glory hallelujah, everything I went through had a purpose. God uses my pain as a testimony as to what He can do! Every mistake I made, He is using for His glory. Only God can do that. You can’t wander too far from God’s grace, it’s all woven into your destiny. He had it all planned out for you and His Kingdom so if you’ve fallen, get back up! He has big plans for you, all you have to do is get back up and take His hand again. He’s waiting. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” ~ Isaiah 61:1-3

What a promise! It doesn’t tell us the enemy won’t attack, but it does say the Lord shall lift up a standard against him when he comes in like a flood. Woohoo! He has been coming in like a flood against me, what comfort to know my Poppa is raising the standard against him! My Poppa has me and you. We don’t face these battles alone, can you feel yourself rising above them? I can, there is victory in Jesus! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

God’s Word will not return void. Period. If He said it, it will come to past. I don’t care what your situation looks like, I don’t care what the devil is whispering in your ear, God has the final say. So start claiming what He spoke over you and start speaking life into your situation, start speaking overflow where there is not enough, and start speaking flowing waters into dry places. God will accomplish that thing He said He will do. Period. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I certainly needed this reminder with tears streaming down my cheeks (as usual). I needed reminded that my Father’s ways and thoughts are higher than mine so His plans for me are higher than I can imagine. So when these flames get too hot, when I feel like I’m burning all alone, I heard Him say I’m refining you daughter. It’s a process you can’t escape, but it’s one I won’t leave you alone through. You are not standing in the fire by yourself, I’m with you. I’m teaching you my ways, my thoughts. For that to come to pass old ways and old thoughts have to burn off. They have to die to self, but new life springs forth. Trust Me, trust the process. You’re not alone, you’re learning to depend on me. Wow, that was an on-time word for me, but perhaps you needed it to. The refining process isn’t easy. The burning is painful, the closing circles are lonely, but God sees the end result and He’s making us into who we were meant to be all along! Keep pressing my friend, keep pressing! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ~Isaiah 55:8-9

Not one single weapon formed against you will prosper. The darts can keep coming, many can even hit their target, BUT God! His game plan will trump the enemy’s every time. Stay under the shelter of His wings, allow Him to be your coach that plans your every move (especially after a targeted hit), and in the end you will prevail. After all, your Father is THE King and He has your back. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I felt this verse when I read it. I felt my Father saying I’m going before you making those crooked places straight! Those boulders before you are busting apart. Dry your eyes and keep pressing, you are almost there, don’t quit now! Child of God, you may be weary too and your Father sees it. He catches every tear you cry and He’s saying you are not walking this journey alone. He smoothing out those paths, keep drawing close to Him, you’ve not been forgotten. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call [thee] by thy name, [am] the God of Israel.” ~ Isaiah 45:2-3

As I read this, I realized the importance of renewing our strength. I began to think on the importance of staying at the Lord’s feet in His presence and just renewing that strength. I tend to “run on empty” so often. Meaning I push myself until I’m completely depleted emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I overwhelm myself by not talking care of myself first. I don’t renew my strength often enough and I don’t renew my mind enough creating space for the enemy’s attacks. Definitely food for thought. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Ahhhh, waiting on the Lord. There is a place of renewing your strength there when you tap into it. A place of preparation for things to come. Don’t neglect the importance of that waiting time or time to rush it. If God had you there, it’s for a reason. Trust Him through it and use it to gain strength for the days ahead. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I’ve been weary lately. My internet (that I rely on for work ) has been out since Thursday afternoon. My mom has been sick and my migraines are just out of control. Yesterday I woke with one that literally put me in bed all day. Poppa, I could not have worked yesterday had my internet been up! Then I read today’s verse. Once again, I was operating in “my” strength which is fleeting, but when I turn to my Father He gives me His strength. Oh how my heart smiled. We were not meant to carry life’s burdens. Our shoulders weren’t meant to carry the loads it has heaped on it, but we serve the one who’s shoulders are! Give it to Him today and draw your strength from your Poppa! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Stand on the Word of God and stand on the promises He has given you. Our timing isn’t like His timing so it’s easy to get discouraged when we don’t see things coming to pass, but He sees what we don’t. He times it to the detail and so perfectly, if something isn’t happening at this moment He has a reason, trust Him. Lean into Him and stand firm on what He’s promised and keep praising Him and thanking Him daily until you see it come to pass. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

My internet is down (repairman not coming until tomorrow) so I am having issues posting. This verse caught my attention as I was reading. There is so much going on in the world and so much is connected to end time prophecy. Various people encourage you to buy books or watch videos, but the Bible gives you line by line what will happen and how to live during these days. It equips you for the attacks we will be are are be subjected to. It contains the wisdom (with the Holy Spirit) we need to press on during these chaotic days. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. I am so thankful for the voice of the Lord. I’m learning more and more every day how to lean in and listen to it for guidance on this path of life. So many times I have went so far off course I didn’t think I’d ever find my way back. But God. He never stopped calling, never stopped drawing, and never left me where I was. The devil often tries to trick us into hearing his voice and luring us down certain roads. Now, I listen for my Poppa’s voice and I call out to the Holy Spirit when I’m uncertain about which way to move. He always leads His daughter and if I ever do make a mistake, He gently nudges me back on the right road. My focus has changed over the years. Now it’s eyes straight forward, eyes centered on what God has for His daughter and the destiny He has mapped out for her. 💛 ~ Chelle,#f8ithgal

I read this verse in a Bible study I’m in and the weight of it just hit me! The devil has been working on me, even today as I write this I’ve I’d tears streaming down my face the majority of day. A massive migraine hit me today and it just seemed I was being attacked in every area. Then this evening I finally tried to sit down for this blog and I felt my Father remind me if this verse. Daughter, did you put on the armor of my light? Did I or did I try to handle it all alone? Did I or did I get lost in all of my emotions? Did I or did I allow it all to overwhelm me? Oh Poppa! I had not put on my armor and it allowed the enemy’s perfectly timed attacks to pull my head under water. But God! He sent one verse, remind me of who I am and to put that armor back on. Are you wearing your armor? 💛 ~ Chelle

I looked at this verse and thought about all the times my heart has cried out to to my Poppa in complete brokenness and never once has He turned me away. No, He pulls me under His wings, shows me where I went wrong, and begins mending the heart and spirit that He alone can mend. I looked up contrite and it means “feeling or expressing remorse or penitence; affected by guilt.” When we come to our Father in sincerity He doesn’t condemn, He doesn’t turn us away. He welcomes us back with open arms AND He shows us how we veered off the path so we won’t make that mistake again. What love our Father has for us, what love! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I found this gem tucked away among verses talking about being born in sin and being purged from it. I was amazed as I read and reread today’s verse and it says, “and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.” Wow. We are made to know wisdom. All we have to do is seek our Father for that wisdom. Are you seeking Him? He guides the way my friends and provides knowledge the world can’t give! I was praying about this very thing this morning and the Lord led me to the verse. What we meditate on is so very important. The Lord gives us understanding and wisdom to speak, but we have to align our minds AND our hearts with His. Those are key places of attack from the enemy. Wow, that is a lot! Where is your focus? Where is the enemy getting in? Take today and watch the meditation of your heart, you might be surprised. Don’t give the devil any space, cut him off and turn those thoughts around! How awesome to know we have a Heavenly Father that is not only an advocate for us, but our defender! This verse says He saved us from our enemies AND He puts to shame them that hate us. My circle is small and I’m okay with that. God has certain people in it for a reason and He removes others for a reason. It is all for my protection and to help me reach my destiny for His Kingdom. I love my circle and I love knowing I can trust the people He has placed in it. I’m comforted knowing He is handling everyone outside of it! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This was an on-time Word for me this evening. My Father has been opening and closing doors for His daughter and the enemy is angry. Today he raised his ugly, bitter little head and I sat with tears running down my cheeks. Daughter, straighten your crown. I was reminded of the battles in the Old Testament. The victories won, they often killed women and children. Could you imagine? The Lord often had them take everything when they conquered a piece of land. It was war. They were not going to be liked in a lot of people’s eyes, but God was on their side. That’s what really mattered wasn’t it? Daughter, straighten your crown. Now I’m looking up at my Father and thinking about what really matters. What matters is how He sees me, He will tread down those that rise up against me. He will tread down those that rise up against you. Straighten your crown child of God, He’s got you! ~ 💛 Chelle, #f8ithgal

The Lords plans sometimes look nothing like ours, but they are always for our better. Often those things we pray for that He doesn’t answer are for our protection. He sees things we don’t, He hears things we don’t, and He takes our future into consideration. Too often we think about our immediate needs, but He’s an on-time God who sees the bigger picture and will never leave us desolate now or later. We serve such an awesome God. His Word doesn’t tell us we won’t go through hard things, in fact this verse says MANY are the afflictions of the righteous. BUT the verse doesn’t end there , it goes on to say our Lord delivereth him out of them ALL. Not some of them but out of them ALL. I find so much comfort in this verse. I was sitting here this afternoon crying. My feelings were so hurt over one person I don’t even know. Poppa, that person doesn’t even know me and she doesn’t even want wants best (for the other person involved). I used to be a person that hates change, I’m still not fond of it; BUT, we have to change to grow. If someone is changing and no longer sitting in a place of death why would you want to pull them back in? What kind of sick, twisted person does that? Certainly not a friend. I found this dialogue going on in my head and this is what I should… just be still daughter. They are puppets for the enemy, blinded by his evil. They have no idea the hold he has over them. Pray for them. Pray for them I thought, but they are trying to destroy… Pray for your enemies, pray. I thought on this. My tears are gone and I’m now understanding the contrite spirit part of this verse as peace floods my soul. I had to let my hurt and anger go and pray for them and leave them in the Lord’s hands. But in this, I found the Lord was right there nigh until me. Speaking to me through it with tears running down my face. He listens my friends and He’s here for us. Cry out to Him and He will hear you! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Yesterday while I was studying on the Armor of God, I was visited by two doves. I began to notice one was larger than the other and the smaller was following after it. This morning the enemy baited me right into an attack. I sat here on my bed with tears steaming down my face, completely unable to move. I wasn’t alone. I wasn’t unprepared, in fact my Poppa had prepared me all week! I looked up “fervent” and it means “having or displaying a passionate intensity.” Just before this attack, I had prayed a fervent prayer. “Patient in tribulation.” I looked up “tribulation” and it means “ – cause of great trouble or suffering.” Finally, “continuing instant in prayer.” I looked up “instant” and it means “happening or coming immediately.” That last part is KEY! In my Bible study this week, I learned prayer is a critical part to the armor of God. In reading these verses the Lord showed me prayer is also a critical part in unlocking the key to the peace to these verses! We can be fervent in Spirit and patient in tribulation but still experience unrest without continued prayer to both unlock the peace and bring about victory! Our spirit is going to wear down and our patience is going to run thin without prayer that sustains and unlocks. God also showed me I froze and was unable to breathe today because my prayer was delayed and not instant. Come on somebody! Look at God!!! Thank You Poppa for Your Word and revelation today! I pray you gleaned from it as much as I did. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The world seems to have flipped this Scripture around. So much evil is loved while so much good is despised in it’s eyes. When I looked up dissimulation I found it means “concealment of ones thoughts, feelings, or character; pretense.” I found that very interesting in connection to this verse. Boldly stand and love that which is right even in a world that might reject you, they rejected Christ too so you are in good company. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

My heart smiled as I read this verse this morning. Our Father always knows what we need and just when we need it, but it never ceases to amaze me just how much this holds true. My heart was discouraged when I went to bed last night. The enemy is so skilled at who he uses to attack us, but this morning my Father so faithful and so loving once again reminded me of who I am in Him. The key to that is IN Him. I found my identity through Christ and I will not waiver on that now. He promises us so much as His children and I encourage you to get in His Word and embrace those promises. Live fully FOR Him and IN Him. I am so far from perfect, BUT I serve a perfect God who pours out His grace and mercy over me. I’m all in for Him and coming for all He has for me. Those prayers you pray around the ones you love today may be what keeps them safe when they walk out the door tomorrow. The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, that is nonstop. That may seem a little radical, but those prayers are serious when it comes to the people we love. I am constantly praying over the man I love. He hydroplaned today and he said as the signs he split in half were coming towards him he had no idea how they went over the car and not into the windshield. I said, I do. It is the power of God, the prayer of a praying woman, and the angels that I put around you every single morning! Friends, God hears and honors those prayers! My first reaction from His call was to give God praise. My second, as it sunk in, was I need to pray even more! I have absolutely no doubt it was my prayers and the angels I had commissioned around him that kept him safe. Ladies, cover your men in prayer. Men, cover your ladies in prayer. There is nothing more important in your relationship than that prayer life! Your relationship with God is essential! This afternoon I was reminded of it’s importance on a different level and I am so thankful I was a praying woman in his life. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What a mighty God we serve! Do you know this God I speak of? He longs to know you in the most real and intimate way. He has things He wants to share with you, but it takes more than a rushed prayer or coming to Him in a time of need. He wants two-way conversations, are you taking the time to listen for your Father’s voice? He has so much for you child of God if only you take the time to listen. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.“ ~ Psalm 22:22

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 29, 2021

God has been calling me to be bolder in my faith and bolder in the testimony of it. As He calls me into a deeper relationship with Him, He’s started giving me decrees and praises. I said Poppa, these people are going to think I have lost my mind! But I have been sharing it all with a boldness. Today I sat in the courthouse hallway praying and singing to God in intercession for the man I love after we had been given an offer we were not happy with. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and in the end God’s favor was with us. To see Him working right before our eyes is just awesome and to see the fruit of faith in action is so rewarding. I give God the highest praise! People may think I’m crazy, but it is my radical faith that has brought me to where I am and I will express it with a boldness with all God gives me to proclaim! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.“ ~ Ephesians 3:12

A dear prophetic sister helped me see I had been under great spiritual warfare. Yesterday I declared the enemy was not going to win! This morning, before I ever opened my eyes, my head was exploding and stabbing right behind my eye. Poppa? I’m never going to be able to work like this, I told Him. I got my frozen eye mask, turned on the praise music and laid back down (I always set the alarm early). When I woke to do this morning’s post my Father led me here to Psalm 18:16. WOW. My Father has me through this battle! As my headache began to lift a little, it was as my Poppa was drawing me out of those many waters. Yes, He has me. I don’t know what waters you are in, but He has you too! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.” ~ Psalm 18:16

Oh how my heart needed this reminder and my Poppa knew it! I just love when the Holy Spirit does that. The Lord is our strength and our fortress. He alone is where I put my trust, He will show up and show out. You can believe that! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower.” ~ Psalms 18:1-2

I was writing in my prayer journal this afternoon and praying for a verse for today’s Nourishment Blog. Psalm 14:4 quickly came to my spirit. I read it in awe. We live in such a misguided world. Why? They do not call upon the Lord. People make decisions based on “me” and what they want in that very moment. They don’t seek the Lord for His wisdom because they are so full of their own. I am humble enough to to know I can’t do it without Him, any of it. The pages of my journal are filled with cries asking for His wisdom because I know his ways are higher than my ways, I know He sees things I can’t see. I know there is an enemy who seeks to steal my peace and destroy my destiny. I know I need to call upon my Lord… do you know… do you? 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.” ~ Psalm 14:4

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 23, 2021

There is a song that Koryn Hawthorne sings, “Know You.” In it, she sings, “I don’t wanna’ live in the shallows I was made to search the deep.” The Lord has had that song in my spirit for months. The Lord has been pulling me into the deep and the enemy has been fighting me on a level I’ve never experienced. Spiritual warfare is real, but I was not made for the shallow and I’m plunging deeper. I’m headed for depths the enemy can’t even imagine with waters that will drown him out as my Father reveals hidden things to me there! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” ~ 1 Corinthians 2:10

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 20, 2021

This verse says the Lord’s thoughts are very deep, have you taken the plunge into the deep with Him? He’s been calling me there and I’m excited to grow closer to Him and unearth the hidden gems He has for His daughter there. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 5 O LORD, how great are thy works! [and] thy thoughts are very deep.” ~ Psalm 92:4-5

God knows our every thought and sees into very the depth of our heart. There is nothing we can hide from him, yet He love us anyways. Give it all to Him, the good, the bad, and the ugly and watch things change for the better. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward [thought] of every one [of them], and the heart, [is] deep.” ~ Psalm 64:6

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 18, 2021

You’re not drowning, I’m calling you into the deep daughter. Really, it felt like drowning to me. The water coming over me was a perfect analogy with some of the migraine symptoms as they overtake me. Almost as if being submerged in water, burning in my right eye, extreme pressure, only we are going to add an ice pic going through my eye. I’m drawing you into the deep- God is not detoured when our “human” side of fears and pain kicks in. He sees what we can’t. He continues to give me a word and calming waters start to flow over me and wash away the tears that were flowing from my eyes. I was reading this evening on key words that my Father had given me and found today’s verse. Waves of life might overtake us, but sometimes they overtake us for the Lord to pull us in deeper to Him. Don’t miss out on that! I’m listening Poppa, I’m listening. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.” ~ Psalm 42:7

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 17, 2021

As I was reading for a verse this morning, today’s just kept coming back to me. There is a tired that only the Lord can give rest for, a weariness that He alone can replenish. I came hone from the neurologist yesterday disappointed at the very high increase in migraines I am having. I sat on my bed and cried for seemingly forever, Poppa, I don’t know how to eliminate my trigger: stress. I stress over everyone and everything. I take on things that aren’t even mine to take on. I put stress on myself in every single area of my life. Rest in Me daughter. Rest in Me. I spent the rest of the evening just resting and the headache faded until the late night when my mind tried to pick it all back up again. This is going to be a long process for this daughter, resting doesn’t come easy! Leaving at His feet after I’ve given to Him doesn’t either!! Help me Poppa and thank You for Your grace!!! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: April 16, 2021

Our Father always knows what we need and my Poppa sure knew my heart needed reminded of today’s verses, they are indeed nourishment for your soul and mind! As I looked at my headache numbers today at the Dr.’s office, I was reminded I can’t do things on my own. My trust and hope must be in the Lord. This weight of worry and stress that I carry about everything and everyone is just too much for me to bear, but my Father’s shoulders were made to carry it. Oh that second verse, I claim it. “… her leaf shall be green…” That just struck me. The stress, these headaches are draining my life and my very color and that is not how it is to be. Thank You Poppa for this on-time word for your daughter! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“7 Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and [that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8

So much of the battle the enemy wages with us is in our mind. It starts with a “simple” thought and we take that thought and expand on it and beat that thing to death. That thought becomes a huge unbeatable monster in our head. We need to change our thought patterns. I’m speaking to myself, stepping in my own toes! We need to take today’s verse to heart and think on these things continuously. When those thoughts from the enemy arise, strike them down and think on these, yes these things! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.” ~ Philippians 4:8

It seems in today’s society right is often labeled wrong or those upholding the statues of the Lord are judged harshly, hold them anyways. Help me Poppa to walk in Your ways and to be the woman of God You would have me to be. I am so far from perfect and I am thankful for a merciful God that loves me and gives me grace in this walk with Him. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Thank You Poppa for your tender mercies. I am so far from perfect yet you still lovingly correct and keep me on that path you have set before me. You renew my mind daily and strengthen me for the journey ahead. I delight in Your laws and Your ways for they are so much better than those ways I’ve tried and failed on my own. My life is more abundant through you and anything else whispered in my ears are lies from the devil. I will be a shining light for you this season, chasing the darkness away. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Life throws you some deep waters and hot flames. This verse doesn’t sugar coat it and tell you those times won’t exist, but it does tell you the waters won’t overflow (or overtake you ) and the fires aren’t going to burn (or consume) you. When you are a child of God, you walk with favor. You walk with His hand resting upon you. The waters may get deep and the flames may get hot, but your Father is still in control and these are merely opportunities to build your faith. What you see with the physical eye isn’t a reflection of what is going on in the spiritual realm. Don’t lose heart and don’t give up. Press on and press in, your Poppa’s got you. Any other thought is a lie from a devil, trust your Father. He’s got you! ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” ~ Isaiah 43:2

With the death and resurrection of Christ, we were grafted in as His own. He died for you and me! He took on our sins y’all! WOW, what love. His light penetrates the darkest of hearts, it cleanses the deepest of sins, and it welcomes you back no matter how far you’ve ran. I’m so thankful for the cleansing power of the blood, for the resurrection that defeated death, and for a Savior that carries it all on His back so that I don’t have to. So unworthy, yet chosen to be His child. Who wouldn’t want that?! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23 That Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.” ~ Acts 26:22-23

What a promise! I’ve been thinking a lot on being crucified with Christ lately. My spirit has been hearing less of me and more of Him. That’s something the world talks against and to be honest the flesh fights it as well. We were made in God’s image to serve Him, not sin. Somewhere along the way man got it twisted and in his selfishness he started to serve himself. We as a nation need to come back to God, but it starts with the person looking in the mirror and the choices we make. Less of me Poppa and more of You, that is what my heart is crying out today. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“5 For if we have been planted
together in the likeness of his
death, we shall be also in the

Knowing this, that our old man is
crucified with him, that the body of
sin might be destroyed, that
henceforth we should not serve sin.”

“Blessed and holy is he that hath

Oh, but for the blood of Jesus! It makes perfect every good work to do His will. When we are walking with Him we can’t fail. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances dictate, we already have the victory. Too often we get frustrated and give up when God is wanting us to press in! There is power in the blood, power in the blood… are you tapping into it or are you giving up? God gives us a choice, I choose to press into Him and keep moving towards my destiny. What are you choosing? 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“20 Now the God of peace, that
brought again from the dead our
Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of
the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant, 21 Make you
perfect in every good work to do
his will, working in you that which is
wellpleasing in his sight, through
Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for
ever and ever. Amen.”

Oh there’s power in the blood! Jesus conquered death and rose. He lives!!! Whosoever believeth in Him shall never die! Do you believe? Life throws us some pretty horrific curve balls. There is still life in there them bones! Start proclaiming it! Speak life into your situation. The enemy has no authority over you, take it back in the name of Jesus!!!! Sweet Holy Spirit

I am so amazed by the presence of the Holy Spirit and the way He speaks and draws me to Him. I used to see doves all the time when I lived up on the mountain. I had what I called my dove tree, just full of them. It seems a while since I’d seen one, until this week. Earlier this week as I prayed one landed outside my window and then another. I could feel the Holy Spirit confirming my prayers. Fast forward to today. I opened the door and Jackie said your brown dove is out here, I looked down and she began speaking to me. I watched in amazement as she cooed, looking directly at me. Later this evening I took the trash out and stopped to watch the sun, beaming so bright. As I headed in, the dove flew directly in front of me within inches of my face and landed on the handrail. She was so close I could touch her. I was both speechless and breathless. She then lifted and flew to the power line and then the tip of the neighbor’s roof. I stood in complete awe. What had just happen. This dove had literally just fluttered face to face with me. She landed so close I could have touched her! I went in and came back out and sat down on the sidewalk and waited in anticipation of her return. She came back and landed on the ground. I prayed in my prayer language as I watched her and she gracefully strutted as I took pictures. My encounter left me in awe. You have my attention Poppa, I’m listening! Oh sweet Holy Spirit you are welcome in this place. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I have been retreating to my secret place of the Lord day and night and placing my fears in Him that holds my tomorrow’s and He has been revealing things to my heart. Mental and emotional trauma create wounds that cut deep. They leave scars that the world can’t see, but He also showed me they leave wounds that continue to open when they are not fully healed. The damage caused can cause them to bust open and ooze blood and pain when things jolt them open. God can heal that, but there are things we have to let go of. It’s not an easy process, but one He is so patient through when we give Him complete control. Is there something you need to surrender to Him today? I promise, His shoulders can carry it so much better. Ours weren’t made to carry that pain, Jesus already took on for us. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I am the kind of person that likes everyone and I bend over backwards to get along with others. I started to notice I was encountering a few people who just didn’t like me. Poppa, what did I do? I was genuinely hurt. He started to show me it wasn’t me they didn’t like, it the spirit that dwelled within me, His Spirit. The two spirits were clashing. Light and darkness will always struggle, they can not abide in unity. Light cannot be hid, it just exudes from within a believer to the outside drawing others to Christ. So it’s okay to not be liked. It’s okay not not fit in. Keep allowing that light to shine, it is still drawing others out of the darkness and that’s what it is all about. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” ~John 15:18-19

The latter part of this week the Lord started moving me off of FB a lot. The migraines were increasing in frequency and I was finding my mind was not at all fixed where it should be. I started to notice in the last two days my entire countenance had changed. My smile had come back, my worry was replaced with joy, and my focus had started to shift back where God intended it to be. This morning I heard, keep your eyes on Me daughter, a new thing is springing forth. My Poppa told me it was going to come through my dedication and obedience to Him. Oh how my heart leaped for joy. I am so excited to see what the Lord pours into me as I pour my time into Him in the days ahead. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Just this morning I heard another call on the scanner for a suicidal person. My heart started to grieve as I began to pray to to Lord for this person. My friends, God wants us to live and not die. Anything else we hear is a lie being whispered by the devil. When that lie becomes so loud we want to take our own life it is a spirit that must be broken. Jesus is the answer, He IS the light in the darkness that the devil doesn’t want you to see. This morning, I speak life over you. I speak His glorious light right into you. I pray your eyes be opened and that spirit be broken. In Jesus precious name Amen. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Praise the Lord for His healing, I needed this word especially after a mega migraine day yesterday, but even more than that this verse says “from their destructions.” I don’t know about you, but my walk is so far from perfect. I have had so many missteps along the way and my Poppa has never turned His back on me. I have wandered away and He has literally chased me down and then forgiven me for those same missteps. WOW. What patience. What love. Thank You Poppa for never giving up on me, thank You Jesus for Your cleansing blood that delivers and sets free. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The enemy got inside my head yesterday and had a field day. #realtalk I think he tried to replay every past trauma through my head, BUT he is a liar. I’m still standing and Jesus still sits on the throne. Tears still roll down my cheeks, but they are cleansing tears as my Father says daughter I’m healing you. I start today renewed in the spirit of my mind and knowing my past doesn’t control me. It doesn’t define me. And it certainly doesn’t set the course of my future. It does give me a roadmap to navigate the future and deep understanding to help others. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

This is one of my favorite go to verses. The enemy is constantly bombarding my mind with thoughts that are definitely not from God. It is so important to fight those daily by the renewing of my mind. Today was an emotionally draining day for me. I took a huge step for me toward releasing myself from a piece of my journey that was beyond difficult to walk, one I should never have chosen, and one that caused a lot of scars. But it was not without purpose. Releasing myself from it was a journey in itself and one I didn’t think I’d ever give myself permission to do, but I now know it’s okay and I’m still okay with God to do it. It took courage to move forward and know I was not alone, my Father never leaves me alone. Whatever you are facing today my friend, you too are not alone. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Oh how my heart needed this verse this morning! I’ve had a rough week. My mom took a fall that scared me absolutely to death and there are several other things that have had me completely anxious and in tears. When I woke and sat down at my desk I was jittery and could already feel my arms beginning to shake. The Lord doesn’t want us going through life like that. We are to cast are troubles on Him. He says in this verse to make your request known to Him. He says that because He cares for us and He will take care of every little and big thing we encounter throughout our day. Whatever you are going through, give it to the one cares, He can carry much better than either of us! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The Lord has had this verse on my heart all evening. Late this evening while speaking to Pastor Cheryl in Colorado she said, “You need to be still before the Lord…” Talking about confirmation, WOW! My Father had already shown my heart this is what I needed to do and now He had used this very precious lady in my life to confirm it. I just love it when the Lord does that! Sometimes we are faced with things in life when the the best thing to do is just take some time to be still. Just sit in the presence of our Lord and be still. Listen for Him to guide you. Don’t move to the right or the left, don’t go backwards or forwards, just be still in His presence. I so needed this word tonight, perhaps you did too. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~ Psalm 46:10

We all have bad days. We all have days when we struggle with those demons in our heads, but all we have to do is cry out to God and He will strengthen our soul. He doesn’t just quiet those demons, He begins to remove them and heal the damage they have left behind. Are you feeling overwhelmed by things from your past? Cry out to the one who created it all and watch things begin to change. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.” ~ Psalm 138:3

When God anoints you, He also equips you. The Holy Spirit will teach you everything you need to know. I used to really struggle with “how could God use me?” but that is precisely why God uses me and that is why He uses you too! He doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” ~ 1John 2:27

It is not by our might or power, but by the Spirit of God that works through us that we overcome the things we do. What are you facing today? Child of God, you don’t face it alone. The Spirit of God is within you and you are an overcomer through Him! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

From the Heart

A broken heart was all I’d ever known
I was certain I was destined to walk this life alone
So many tears to God I’d cried
Too many times I’d wished He’d just let me die
Yet He forced me to hold on
And I just couldn’t understand His plan or what He was doing
I was broken beyond repair
There wasn’t anyone to care
I had built walls so high they could never be breached,
Iron chains around my heart to ensure it would never be reached.

But Gods had a plan
He had chosen a VERY special man
I was drawn to YOU in a way I can’t even explain
I suddenly needed you like a parched flower needs the rain
I thought I’d known love before, but I didn’t have a clue
No, I didn’t know until God gave me YOU
You are the best part of me
Where I always want to be
God brought us together this I know
And our love every day will continue to grow
From now until the end of time
YOU, Jackie Harper, will ALWAYS be mine. ❤️

The devil seeks to cause chaos and destroy our sound mind. He is a liar and fear cannot abide in the presence of our Lord. The enemy is constantly accusing, but we have overcome by the bloods of the lamb. Those things can’t hurt us anymore. Glory hallelujah! What they can do is reach other people and pull them from out of the out of the pits of hell. What we’ve been through, what God redeemed us from becomes a testimony to reach others. That deserves a praise shout! 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” ~ Revelation 12:10-11

Fear is a tactic the enemy often tries to employ over me. There is no fear in God. Perfect love casteth out fear! During those times, I have to really draw into my Father and fight back with His Word. He upholds me and the devil has to take his tactics and flee. It’s a continual process because his darts never stop, but neither does God’s endless supply of strength and protection. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I’ve been going through somethings. God had already prepared me for the road ahead so these things were not unforeseen, but difficult non the less. Last night He reminded me I don’t face them alone and I don’t face them without purpose. He is right here in the midst of them and mighty to save. He is rejoicing over me and the situation. He is singing joy over me and you right in our situation, how awesome is that?! Too often I get in my own head, He reminded me He’s in my heart and to allow my spirit to rest in Him. There are some days when I just want to give up. I just feel like I can’t take step a further. Their are moments when I feel like I can’t even breathe. All I can do is barely get a whisper out, “Help me Poppa, please.” He breathes life into me during those times. He lifts me during those times when my spirit is feeling too heavy to move forward. But one thing I don’t do is quit. Even if I’m just treading water, I don’t stop moving. I encourage myself in the Lord. Are you weary this morning? I want to encourage you to keep pressing. I woke up this morning and it hit me hard that the enemy had been pounding me with attacks and I was just taking the hits. I was almost frozen, yes he is so skillful in his attacks I thought. He knows exactly where to hit to impose the most pain and stir up the most anguish. I prayed and reflected on this recent attract for a long time this morning and then the Lord brought me back to this morning’s verse. I have power over the enemy. He skillfully pinpoints his attacks to trigger past areas that have been cancelled out in the name of Jesus. Places He is healing and the enemy loves to uproot trauma. Those places can’t hurt me if I don’t allow them to. I needed this verse this morning and I needed to take back the power Jesus has given me. Thank You Poppa for the reminder and Holy Spirit for your guidance. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

We are called to walk in love, yes even in a world filled with hate. I see so much hate everywhere I look. Jesus had compassion on the sinners. He came for those people and it is some of those people that society judges as the “worse” that He uses in the most profound ways. Don’t hate the person, hate the sin. And don’t make yourself higher above them, you don’t know the path they have walked. Offer the love and compassion of Christ and PRAY for them daily. That is what He has called us to do. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” ~ Ephesians 5:2

I was thinking about all of the unrest in the world. There is a spiritual war raging that the natural eye can’t see. Many of us are getting attacked individually. The battle is personal. The enemy is trying to move the attention of those called for such a time as this. Not everyone will understand this blog, but there is an army rising up for the Lord that will get it. Your peace through the storms your facing comes from your Father. Do not be troubled and do be afraid. He is allowing the storm to purge the ground in which you are standing. The devil can’t take out that which God has called, that calling IS yours. Life will spring up after these storms. The rains are necessary, find peace in Him during the storms and enjoy the sound of the rains falling knowing the sun always shines brighter after the storm. He is bursting new life through you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

I sure needed this reminder today. The Lord goes before us my friends. He’s already set the path before us. This verse says, “He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” WOW! What promises our Father gives us right here. I have a major deep rooted fear of rejection and I am learning I have not dealt with this at all. So this Scripture speaks to my heart in the most powerful way. My Father will not fail me, he will not abandon me, I need not fear or worry. He has everything I am praying about in the palm of His hand. He has you too my friends, He will not leave you and He will not fail you. We can stand on His Word knowing it is true, write this verse on your heart and pull it out when the devil tries to convince you that you are standing alone. You are not, your Father has already gone before you and He will not fail you. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

What are you caring around that you weren’t meant to carry? I tend to carry everything for everyone on my shoulders, they weren’t made for that. I also tend to pray, put it all at my Father’s feet and then pick it back up a day or two later. Once we give it to Him, we are supposed to leave it there! His shoulders were made to carry those things that burden ours down. I ask again, what are you carrying that you weren’t meant to carry? Give it to your Father today and trust Him to work it out on your behalf. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

Old demons have tried to resurface and bring a spirit of fear with them. Not today darkness, not today. I’ve been fighting them with the Word and lots of prayer. Jesus fired the Word back at the devil on the Mount and I’m firing His Word back today! There is no fear in God. Fear and the enemy have to go in the name of Jesus, all of those old past hurts… they have to go too. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

The key to peace even through the storm is fixing your eyes on the one that can calm those waters and walk on them. Fix your eyes on Jesus dear heart. The winds may roar and the waters may rage, but He will provide you with peace in the midst of the storms. ❤️ ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

One of my absolute favorite verses. My Poppa brings me here oh so many times throughout life. Anytime my spirit is a little troubled (or a lot), this tends to be one of the places He brings His daughter. If you are at that troubled place today, I pray it soothes your troubled spirit as you draw close to your Father today. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and [why] art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him [for] the help of his countenance.” ~ Psalm 42:5

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: February 1, 2021

The Lord just keeps placing verses of hope before me. This one speaks of both life and hope. I am not sure who this is for this morning, but I speak life over you. I feel you are hanging my a thread, but God says hang on to my Word there is life in it… I AM THE LIFE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. I feel that word deep in my spirit this morning. Draw your hope from God and the things of Him. You will not find peace in the world and the things connected to it. I love you and I’m lifting you in prayer. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.” ~ Psalm 119:116

Nourishment for Your Soul and Mind: January 30, 2021

I am so thankful that the Lord doesn’t allow entrance into heaven based on the practice of casting stones. I’m also thankful that when He grabs ahold of us true change starts to take place. It is not always instant, but it’s certainly life changing. As humans, we tend to look at the past and not the changes occurring. The grace we’ve been given isn’t a grace we easily extend to others. Perhaps we need to take the time to stop and look a little deeper, listen a little harder before we cast those stones. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

“6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” ~ John 8:6-7

Hope! Where are you placing your hope? It makes a huge difference in the peace of mind you carry. One carries the weight of the Holy Ghost and removes the weight of the world from your shoulders. I’ve had a rough few days. I was scrolling through for a verse today and the Lord really encouraged my heart through Romans 15:4. The Bible is filled with situations for us to glean from. People just like you and me who faced situations that left them discouraged, heart broken, even lost at times. These scriptures can give us comfort and hope as they meet us at the point of our need. God has given us everything we need right at our fingertips. He is so good to us. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal

There is a peace that only comes from above. You can be going through hell on earth and still have a peace man cannot understand. I was sitting in bed this afternoon and heard the Lord say, daughter why are you worrying? Do I not instruct your steps? I was filled with such a peace. We are sometimes seen as crazy for our radical beliefs, believe them anyways. Pray without ceasing and lean into your Heavenly Father daily. Then let not your heart be troubled or afraid, allow His peace to wash over You as His Holy Spirit guides you. You will have a peace the world can’t explain, but it will move them to want that peace you carry! Seeds planted for God to grow. 💛 ~ Chelle, #f8ithgal
